as much as i love reading about eddie being experienced with sex, it’s just not true. Man’s has had sex maybe 3 times and never with a woman

They never hooked up, instead the guy spent the entire night informing and answering all of eddie’s questions about kinks. He was also the one to teach eddie the importance of after care. Eddie got into metal when he was 11. Wayne took him on a day fishing trip with a buddy of his and that buddy was a casual listener of Black Sabboth. Eddie immediately loved it. Wayne got him the same record for his 12th birthday.

Wayne was also the one to teach eddie the basics of guitar, but only the basics. Eddie picked it up quickly and surpassed Wayne in no time.

Eddie is a fast learner… in all things 🌶

And here in the background is steve getting choked up about it and all i can think about is how he wished he had someone there for him the way jonathan is for will bc steve is all alone. His parents are constantly gone leaving him in the big house alone, nancy chose jonathan leaving him romanticly alone and he also lost his friend (all though they were shitty anyways)

so yeah, here’s choked up steve going through the most traumatic shit and being absolutely alone yet still putting on a brave face when he’s around the kids :’)

So i know we don’t know much about Steve’s parents but i think we can all agree they truly don’t give a shit about Steve. It’s almost like they had steve (and only steve bc we all know he’s an only child) because that’s what your supposed to do. And this scene breaks me because this is the face of someone whose worst fear has come to life. This is a face of a kid who grew up fighting for his parents approval only to get brushed off to the side. This is the face of a kid who started acting out to try and get some kind of attention from his parents. This is a face of a teenager who realized some awful night during his beginning years of high school that his parents don’t really love him- not like how they’re supposed to. This is the face of someone who was worried that they just might be unlovable, the face of someone who kept shitty friends until his jr. year because he was worried that if he didn’t keep them around he wouldn’t have anyone else. This is Steve Harrington realizing that his biggest fear of not being loved by anyone has happened.

And to top it all off, after this? he believes he’s alone. Dustin hasn’t come into his life yet and Nancy just gave him the biggest slap in the face of not only saying she’s doesn’t love him and never had but also taking away the only person who he’s close with that knows what he’s been through. The only person who probably kept him somewhat grounded in reality after witnessing the events of season 1.

it’s been a good few months now of shipping stucky and can i just say a big fuck you to the universe. this ship has single handedly destroyed my life.
