My boyfriend and I have been together for one year now, he loves me for who I am and the size I am. Since I have been with him I have gone from a size 16 to a size 22 but he doesn’t complain one bit. He loves me more and more and it seems to show. :D

My boyfriend surprised me for Christmas by travelling 830+ miles in one day from Hamilton,Ohio to Gulfport, Mississippi just to meet me after 10 months of a long distance relationship. It was the best couple of days in my life and i can’t wait to see him again <3. He’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the love of my life. As you can see we’re both chubby and though i’ve found it hard to look past how big i look in this picture lately i’ve been able to look at it and just smile remembering how good it felt to be with my man in that moment as opposed to breaking my self down for every flaw i see. Learning to love myself is the best thing i ever did and though having body dysmorphic disorder is making it hard i’m determined to stick with this way of thinking. I’m 6’0 325lbs size 26-28 and 3x shirt.

We live together and he has helped me feel beautiful inside and out, and has helped me not to care about what anyone thinks about our size differences.

He's been my best friend and partner since 2000.  This pic is from our wedding last year.  Yeah, he loves me for my body... and my mind and soul too.  And that love is mutual!

I’m such a lucky lady to have my wonderful boyfriend, Drew in my life. For over four years, he’s been my rock He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and with his support, I’m finally able to love my body the way it is. Since we’ve been together, both of our weights have fluctuated drastically, but that doesn’t matter to either one of us.

Drew is a feminist and fat advocate and even wrote his Master’s thesis on fat oppression within society. Words can’t express how proud he makes me every single day.
