pls… i beg of you… reblog creations… or else there won’t be any more creations
it makes me so sad to see so many creators talking in the tags about how they’re not creating as much because less and less people are interacting. this is proof that interaction is vital. this is proof that a lack of interaction leads to discouraged creators and leads to less creations. liking—and only liking—does not encourage creators.
and that’s because (1) the purpose of this website is to share things that bring us joy and (2) likes don’t share things or ensure something is seen by more people, not like they do on other sites. so, when so many people decide to only like a post and not share it (i.e. not reblog it), that tells the creator that those people didn’t think their hard work was worth sharing with others. that’s discouraging.
and the creator isn’t the only one that gets something out of that. you get something, too. you get the joy of sharing something you like; that’s a meaningful experience for both you and for the creator. and that experience—that interaction—encourages the creator to create more, and so there’s more joy to be had for both you and the creator.
long story short, interaction (i.e., reblogging, which is interaction in its simplest form on this site) brings joy. it’s literally all about the joy, people. the joy in discovering and sharing and appreciating and marveling at creations. so please reblog—for everyone’s sake, including your own.

The creator of this video seems to have opinions about the repulsive shit stains that are the Marines Malevolent.
The creator does have opinions. Really funny ones tbh. Imagine seeing all the loyalist chapters and hitting that GW statement of how "awful" the Marines Malevolent are and still cheer on Salamanders or Ultramarine.
Not trying to pick a fight or anything, also not being mean to anyone's faction. I just find it funny when people go to the "Grimdark" world and then are surprised when the world is in fact grim and dark. Marines Malevolent exemplify the setting tbh. Plus they don't give people the perception of "Warhammer clearly isn't grimdark enough for torture to be commonplace among almost all the factions".
Hope everyone has a good day btw!
Warhammer fans, reblog this with your favorite piece of warhammer lore. Your grimdark universe intrigues me.
Orks have two gods - Gork and Mork.
Gork is brutal but cunning while Mork is cunning but brutal.
Grizgutz is an Ork warlord who accidentally traveled back in time, whereupon he promptly shot his past self so he could have two of his favorite gun.
One of the most interesting characters in the entire setting is an immortal undead robot museum creator who travels across time and space to collect curiosities (and people) in pokeballs for his planet-thats-larger-on-the-inside sized collection.
He has also spent several millennia in a will-they won't-they, old man yaoi, enemies-to-enemies rivalry with another immortal undead robot who hates his fucking guts.
There was a Dark Eldar archon who got so immensely angry at some imperial world for insulting his looks that he commissioned a special virus to make everyone on the planet look like him. Men, women, children, even the babies. Like think about going home to the crib of your child and seeing a full grown Drukhari's face on your like 2 week old kid.
I was thinking about whether yall would like fics or something like that, but I would probably make a separate side blog for such a thing. Any interests?
I would like to address something real quick. I know I've been doing a lot of space marine posting especially for someone who's got a Dark Eldar pfp. It is unfortunately the easiest thing to interact with in setting. Not unlike the fact Eldar don't have a lot of fans due to the borderline total lack of actual good novels. Dark Eldar might have a slight edge there, but only slight.
Imperial Factions really do kind of have the luxury of picking a lot of the time and I just really need more xenos friends and stories that tell a large degree more.
Also for any space marine fans out there, please please please read the Badab War. It is worth your time and I promise that you will come out of it at least a little satisfied with one of the chapters. Plus it makes the lore so funny and worthwhile. You can even make your own little guys from said chapters since they're all super available. Just a small spoiler though: Don't get too attached to the Astral Claws.
Has anyone ever contemplated the idea of a Night Lord or some other terrifying chaos marine discussing with their serf/slave and disclosing some very transgender flags that the serf recognizes? Like the idea of trying to give a space marine gender affirming care so that you get treated a little better, but you know that if you get caught doing it there's a strong chance to just get executed. That seems like a dynamic some folks would like on Tumblr. Toxic yuri proper from power dynamics to the potential lack of autonomy of both parties to one another.
Quick space marine thought for today.
Have you all ever considered the idea of space marines being too wide to chase Eldar and getting stuck because in their "fervor" their reason is lost. Like Brother Varius having to pull Brother Marius out of a stone wall or some shit like that.
Also, I'll admit that I struggle to get into fantasy universes that are super extended unless there's a TTRPG. Same with Sci-fi honestly.
I got into 40k with Only War and Dark Heresy. I'm getting into Age of Sigmar via Soulbound. The Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying Game was good in second edition, but I haven't played in years tbh so I don't know about fourth edition.
Just overall, if you struggle with novels and picking the faction you enjoy or going through endless wiki entries without any real guiding principal then I'd suggest trying a TTRPG of the setting.
Plus it's a fast OC maker and you can have goofy guys that you and your friends don't just talk about but full on get to use. This is my primary way to interact with GW properties outside of reading novels to better understand how to write my goofy little OCs.
Alright, not 40k related, but I got to partake in the Warhammer AOS setting and I really love the elves. At least most of them.
Daughters of Khaine are such goofy misandrists factions and having looked at them, they're comedic. Sylvaneth and the murderous trees they just let kill people from time to time. The Idoneth and their soul gathering was such a funny idea.
Everyone else in the Order faction seems more normal and the Elves just decided to have the most varied and sociopathic behaviors of the bunch even in their kindness. Will explore further in Soulbound since that's how I'm learning more of the setting.
Did some Servitor art last night, took some 2 hours, pretty happy with it Channeling your misery apparently works, and I kinda get moody horror art now
This is the individual who did my banner. A great artist and especially good at 40k art! Would 100% recommend!
Armored vehicle thought for 40k. Since 90% of space marine vehicles used to be Rhino related (Predators, vindicators, razorbacks, etc.) wouldn't it be funny to see the results. Like a Predator takes a hit from a properly made tank and the shell doesn't fuse because the armor is so relatively thin. Like it's basically just the M113 of the future, so let it be the aluminum bathtub of the future!
Maybe chaos marines staple things to the front and sides which makes the engine buckle and struggle. Some sort of additional ceramite plates or even sandbags on the front to mitigate a hit from something like a Lascannon/Las Fusil. Also the fact they're sorta lightly armed for a transport is all the funnier to me. Let the Rhino carry the equivalent of the AAV's load out in a Heavy Stubber/Bolter and some sort of grenade launcher.
So, we've got the animals for the big five chaos gods.
Khorne has cattle/bulls/hounds.
Slaanesh has snakes.
Tzeentch has ravens/eagles/birds.
Nurgle has toads/flies/frogs/crows.
The Great Horned Rat is a bit self explanatory.
Now, I want to know what Malal/Malice has as an animal motif. Like I get the rest. Khorne enjoys all the pet marines/warriors. Slaanesh is kinda duplicitous. Tzeentch is all about being kind of like Odin. Nurgle has the rot/gross things in popular opinions. The great horned rat has rats. What does Malal/malice get is it like... cats?
So, Khornates wear collars right? And they used to have horns and bells and things? Does this mean that Khornates are cattle? Like not in a derogatory way, but they seem like the fun bull/cattle set up. Would be a really fun thing to see some of the old theming and see what happens.
P.S. if the average Khornate chosen/CSM has a brass collar that just means you need to get a leash.
there basically isn't a single established action archetype that you can't improve tenfold by making it a girl
the old master. the sneering rival. the implacable pursuer. the pragmatic mercenary. the combat hedonist. the sleeper operative. the guy who's just really big. the list goes on
You folks ever think that the various different factions from Warhammer Fantasy would be at least kind of interesting in 40k?
Like I love some of the 40k stuff, but I find the Jakhals and things like that to be a more... Word Bearer idea than a World Eater one to me. Like Bloodgors would be really an interesting idea to oppose Tzaangors. The Beastmen getting some larger rep would be fun and while I understand they still exist we borderline never get to see them.
Squats got removed and the Leagues of Votaan kinda feel like a bandaid to me. Take that as you will.
Skaven becoming the Hrud seems cool, but also it seems like another attempt at looking over it. This is coming from a fan of the Hrud thanks to their involvement in Iron Warriors lore.
Plus it would make chaos so much more interesting! The idea that the gods are somewhat multifaceted rather than just gratuitously evil! I know that it feels like it would defeat the point to a degree, but so does a lot of recent lore. The imperium becoming better should in turn mean that everyone should become better in setting if we're playing with the theming.
