There's an open pit in the middle of our office plan that drops down into a bunch of very sharp spikes that kill you instantly. This is bad. People keep falling in there and dying. Someone put a sign up, the other day, all bright yellow so you can't miss it, that says "Beware!!! Spikes!!!"

The office immediately split into two factions over it. One says that if anyone falls in the spike pit it's their own fault for being so stupid and not watching where they're walking, so we should remove the sign. The other says that the sign is an insult, there shouldn't be a spike pit in our office at all, and having the sign up like that is just normalising the existence of the spike pit, so we should remove the sign.

We ended up removing the sign. Probably for the better. Still... for a while there it looked like it might have worked...

i just couldn't not add this masterpiece, it's THE sexting fic!!! i can't imagine the amount of work kandi put into this, it's so long and the story is quite plotty. there's actual dick pics so be careful reading this in public if you're not into letting others know what you're up to 👀

First, nobody looks at Steve Rogers, this six-foot-two brick wall of a man, and thinks of him in baby shoes.

Second, Tony is aware that he should probably stop taking temporary custody of alien technology and playing with the space-time continuum.

But right now, he’s staring at a woman, maybe thirty, who's staring back at him with familiar eyes. Her blonde hair is twisted loosely at the nape of her neck and one strand of it has slipped free, framing a face that takes Tony a second to place—and oh god, he’s never wished so badly for an enormous emergency STEVE button he can slam.

“Ms. Rogers,” Tony manages, trying to keep them both as calm as possible as he reaches for his phone. “Hi. I'm friends with your son.”
