I came out to my biggest friend group yesterday without planning it because the moment seemed right (I'll do anything for the bit). I was scared to do it because I'm always scared when people learn I'm bi. My heart was going so hard like it always does when I come out but I still did it and it went great and they're accepting of course. The one guy I was kind of worried about texted me happy pride directly this morning

The first time I admitted I liked guys to anyone else it was over text to the person I trust most in the world and my heart still started beating so fast that my dog ran from across the house to sit on me. It's been a while since then, and I still physically panic every time, but now I just enjoy the thrill.

That thrill means people know me and I can be myself completely with them, instead of hiding behind heteronormative rules. It means my life is getting closer to where I want it to be, and my relationships with people I care about are getting better
