Just saw a post that reminded me that not everyone understands why "Baby On Board" stickers and signs for vehicles exist.

Folks, these are not to tell you to drive safely, or to make you feel any particular way about somebody else's child. They're not, that's not it. Quit being snotty about those.

They're to inform rescue workers/first responders that there is, or may be, a baby on board who may or may not be able to let the first responders know they're there, and certainly can't get out on their own.

That's it. That's the whole purpose.

We have one of these stickers on the front window of our house marked with the number of animals typically inside:

"Baby on board" is just this sticker except for a human baby in a car instead of pets in a house.
