Back when the RSC were doing boat!Hamlet (iykyk) they were also doing Edward II which I didn't get to see, but I did pick up a flyer for it because obviously I did.

I can't remember exactly how I got talking about it with my mum, but I was talking about how gay the promo photo for the production is and my mum goes, "Well, not necessarily. They could be fighting."

And I was like, "Mum, you would have to be a very special kind of willfully ignorant to look at this and think they're fighting."
