there's one thing that's certain: coworkers are NOT contributing to any declining birth rates
coworkers love getting pregnant it's a form of enrichment for them
i had to work with The Fucking Spike from 2017 to 2025 and it's a miracle i never damaged anything. up until of course i stopped using the tablet for over 3 weeks and the apple pencil just like, died from planned obsolescence. they do that, btw, the battery is designed to just Fail if you stop using it for 3 weeks to a month. by the way.
costs like 100 euros btw. the spike.
your unreliable narrator fucking bit me
thats not how they told it
History is written by victors
yeah well Victor fucking bit me
i have got to get my fingers off the pulse and start putting them on other stuff
i do actually think it's crazy that employers get a say over shit like tattoos and piercings and we just let that happen
if you look cool as fuck you become unemployable
i do also mean like, face tattoos, yall know that right
besides the obvious that people should have the right to do what they want with their bodies as a form of self expression, the stigma against face tattoos specifically has a long, violent, racist, imperialist history that stretches across the globe
hey. we're having a talk about employment discrimination
my cowboy is fucking dying?? i didn't say he could do that
he didn’t even know
ok my rdr2 chapter 4 review is
- i liked that there was a more variety in terms of missions. i am always up for some cattle rustling / playing Jaws in the swamp / party stealth mission / reuniting with my lover / major character death. best chapter so far in terms of variety i think
- i missed marston! where was he the entire god damn chapter except for the one subplot strictly relevant to him. i did like that it pretty severely undermined the claims of favoritism though. ‘me and arthur’ ‘arthur and i’ ‘you all follow us’ type shit
- i do wish there wasn’t a cap on horse skill types and abilities. i don’t enjoy being forced off the horse i like (the one who carried me home from the o’driscolls) because he’s kind of slow in comparison. i see the vision of breed types offering different attributes but like arabians are ugly and i’m not gonna buy one.
- i severely wish levels like the river boat were more easily readable and had better flow and design rather than ‘we place some enemies to chase the player more or less in the direction they’re supposed to go.
- i really enjoy the way arthur will make a decision himself if you time out on one. it feels like he’s a real character because you have to actively step in to oppose what he wants.
- i also wish there was regional style like at all. i understand more or less why not but it sucks to go to a dedicated tailor in saint denis and find literally the exact selection as in the valentine general store
"Why are my parents suddenly trying to be my friend now that I'm an adult??" Is crazymaking but putting together "oh, because children aren't seen as fully human so they're acceptable to abuse in a way that I'm not anymore. It was never actually about me as a person it was about children being property" may or may not feel Better. Makes sense though lol. Lmao. Everyone get more youthlib now
Like once you really understand Being A Minor as an axis of oppression & look at things through this framework a lot of really jarring things about the transition to adulthood start making sense. Like. Damn you guys told me there was something fundamentally wrong with me but it was just because I was a child this whole time? The fuck?
but ykw at least i'm not on mount everest. at least i'm not paying tens of thousands of dollars to slowly suffocate in a 300-person line at the gates of hell. never in my life will i have to be steered in a hypoxic stupor through the maze of poop and corpses atop mount everest. on this earth a lot of horrible things can happen to you without your permission but there are a few that you have to opt into. you can just say no thanks! and be guaranteed never to have to be on mount everest. much to be grateful for actually
still not on mount everest this morning 😌 alhamdulillah
surely there were train perverts when trains were invented right. how much technology do we realistically owe to machine perverts over the centuries
settings > wound > my wound > reopen
do not forget this
i will say one of the things i don't really understand about rdr2 is the medals applied to story missions. a lot of them feel pretty counter intuitive to the spirit of the story.
also, the individual customization forcing all cutscenes be live rendered hurts the setpieces pretty bad i can't lie to you
i just know arthur morgan wakes up in a cold sweat some nights scared the entire camp has packed up and left without him
i will say one of the things i don't really understand about rdr2 is the medals applied to story missions. a lot of them feel pretty counter intuitive to the spirit of the story.
there is a certain poetry in the way the player can see dutch’s complacency and cowardice fester in the camp and you know in your heart that arthur morgan can see it too but he won’t. i’m piloting a dead man
oh, arthur.
