"sound good to you, buddy?"
Ren’s fingers clenched and he grinned at the gun fool. Killing was only half of his special gift, the half coming in the form of killing an enemy of his boss. Loyalty in his line of work wasn’t very common, especially in a city like Gotham. The Joker was a man that he respected greatly, a mad genius who had a mind very similar to his own. He was unorganized, chaotic, and completely mad, and that’s why Ren was totally loyal to him. No one else could have been worthy of his service.
A pink tongue poked out between his lips and swiped at his lower one, a smirk forming as he nodded to Deadshot. “What are we waiting for? I have a pretty little gift waiting for me.” Ren let out a high pitched chuckle before he turned and went to get into his position. This fool had been stupid enough to think he could screw with The Joker, and the mistake was going to cost his and all his men’s lives. Ren never left anyone alive.
The shadows hugged his thin frame as he made his way into a hidden a hidden corner. It was shrouded in darkness, the perfect hiding spot just close enough to the doors of the building without being noticed.
Don’t get us killed Ren. Minki’s voice in his head sounded defeated and fearful. At this point he had given up trying to stop Ren. A scowl formed on his pretty face, offended at Minki’s remark. “I’m the one doing the killing baby Minki, just go take a little nap while I play.” Ren knew Minki would block everything out. When he wakes up tomorrow all he’ll remember is blacking out from that point on. He did that whenever Ren killed.
In position, Ren waiting for Deadshot to do as he promised, face now settled into a cold gaze as he waited.

"y’know, i don’t usually swing that way — small girl like boys that is," without the use of his hands, he gave a nod in the others direction, "but then again i’d like to say i’m not one to judge… but in this case," he snorted out loud, wiggling back in the chair as best he could in attempts of getting comfy, his clawed hand curling upward to brush against the tight bounds of his wrists behind his back, "you could be over compensating for your small appearance with some hidden pleasure or something, huh?" he laughed against, sharp teeth clenched and gleaming as eyes closed in a bright eye smile, "you never know huh!"
This boy was highly amusing. The way he spoke to Ren, no fear whatsoever, it made him feel all giddy inside. This fool, this thief, he was a very worthy opponent for him. The mad killer almost wanted to untie him himself just to see what the fool would do. It brought him so much excitement that his previous boredom was fading quickly. It had been so long since Ren actually met someone worth him time. He hardly ever used much effort these days, and to find someone who was testing his limits was very fun.
He didn’t respond to the thief’s teasing right away, instead Ren just stood there with his lips formed into a line. He liked to study people, to measure them for what they were. The assassin wondered what the fool had up his sleeve. Surely he would do something, so the best thing to do for now was just go along with this little game. Oh how Ren loved games.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Ren’s lips finally turned up into a slight smirk. He took out one of his small daggers and began toying with it with his fingers, putting pressure on it but never enough to break skin. “I have all kinds of hidden things little fool, pleasure is only one of them.” His dark eyes glinted as he grinned, a sinister kind that looked like it didn’t belong on such a pretty face. “Tiny bodies can do so much. It’s how you use it.” His voice was low, the edging tease very much present.
Ren could have killed the thief by now. He could have gutted him and watched his lovely blood leave his body, but Ren didn’t want that quite yet. Those kinds of deaths were for the weak and stupid, but this special fool deserved something much grander. Ren’s tongue ran over his bottom lip just at the thought. Oh what a lovely gift that would be.

"you ren?" that smooth and low tone ravi was well known for vanished behind a more cocky and sharp - loud enough to make his presence unavoidable. "no offense but, thought the joker would send someone more… buff for this kind of job - you know."
Ren rested his head against the wall, a sick smile pulled up under his mask. He took the moment of silence to enjoy the night sky. It was never a disappointment to him, not even with all of the smog and pollution. Ren thrived off of the night, the dark cloak of the world. The moon served as his only light, and he honored it like the vain did their beauty. Ren felt much like a vampire, a being that crept in the night and killed for blood.
Except Ren didn’t drink the blood, he just loved to see it, feel it. Nothing was more beautiful than the crimson color of blood in his mad eyes. The small male was pulled from his thoughts as a figure approached, a man with a much bigger frame. He looked ready to go in for a gun fight, an amused smile curling up under Ren’s mask.
He knew he didn’t look like much. Ren had no such armor like material on his body, and his size was hardly intimidating, but that was his advantage. No one ever realized just how much toned lean muscle he kept hidden until they felt his wrath. “I guess you’re just out of luck then.” He hummed softly, dark eyes holding the same amused emotionlessness they always did.
Ren tucked his small dagger away before stepping out of the shadows, gloved hands flexing out. Honestly he already found this fool annoying, but he would allow him to live for now. He was amusing after all. “All you need to worry about is putting that pretty little gun to good use.” Ren’s tone was soft and playful, but had a hidden edge behind it, “and let me worry about my muscle mass.”
The moonlight cast a dark glow over them both, and Ren was too excited to wait much longer. He took one more moment to pull out one of his longer knives. His hand brought it up so he could see his eyes in it, dark and deep orbs that looking nothing like how they did when they were Minki’s. Why are we doing this? Minki was barely in the back of their mind, a small voice to try and reason with Ren. He let out a low chuckle and tucked the knife back into its slot on his thigh.
“Let’s save the talking for later,” He lifted his eyes to meet Deadshot’s, “I want to stick my knife in something already.”
♫ PLAYGROUND OF BLOOD; cmk & kws
Cold wind pressed against Ren as he crept through the shadows, blood red mask covering his face. His dark hair was styled in its usual fashion, bangs swept to the side. He wore his usual black tank top and leather pants, leather coat laying perfectly on his small frame. Ren was excited, the small male hardly able to even stay still for a moment. Minki had been dreading the coming events, but Ren couldn’t wait. The dark corner he had chosen to meet Deadshot. Honestly Ren wished he could have just gone on this mission alone, but he knew he couldn’t. He needed at least one person, and Deadshot’s skills made him a perfect partner for the task. Ren had never really dealt with the hired gun before, but he hated pretty much everyone so why would this thug be any different?
Ren took out one of his favorite small daggers as he leaned against the wall of the building, playing with his little weapon. Most people didn’t like small knives, but Ren loved them. They had all kinds of fun uses, ones most wouldn’t even normally think of. Obviously Ren isn’t like most people. He had at least ten small daggers hidden on his body with the rest of his collection of knives, and all had served their purpose.
Staying still was very hard, especially since all Ren could think about was putting his precious blades to good use. Tonight was like a giant gift to him from the boss, a mission that gave him the chance to just kill everyone in sight. Of course he had a task to complete, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t have a little fun while he made his way towards the target. Tonight was definitely going to be fun.
─ *❛ blackout
he’d anticipated it all, minus the sudden chill of a stark blade pressed against the only open area of his suit, he cursed through clenched teeth as clawed hands gripped to the arm wrapped a little too tightly around him. he wouldn’t like to admit, but at times cats can get caught too, they’re just a little quicker when they spot an escape. with dark eyes quickly scanning what was around him, he raised only one finger, nimble at touch to feel the position of the blade — great … "ok, ok — watch it," he was the type of person who knew exactly when he was beat, for it ensured his life at the end of the day. he could get out of any tricky situation as long as he took a moment to step back and assess the consequences that surrounded him. it wasn’t for personal sake either that he was to survive, but his father’s worry as well (if that even existed — even hak was beginning to doubt it), "you got me, buddy." he dropped both hands, raising them in a small surrender as he allowed tense muscles to relax. maybe the psycho kid would let him go if he showed he wasn’t that much of a threat.
Ren was a little disappoint when the fool gave up so quickly. Clearly he wasn’t stupid enough to keep fighting Ren, and it made him very annoyed. He wanted him to keep fighting, he wanted to just keep fighting before he finally got a chance to sink his knife into the thief. He huffed a little and kept his grip tight and quick as one hand kept the blade in place and the other gripped both of the thief’s hands tightly together. His happy smile fell into a straight line, not a foreign expression on Ren’s face.
If he wanted to keep the thief boy in place he needed to tie him up quickly. Ren kept his tight hold on the boy and he pushed him up against the wall of his large bathroom. On the wall rested a small button, barely noticeable to anyone unless they were looking for it. After pressing it with his elbow, a square of the wall opened up to a small hidden compartment. Ren kept his dark and watchful eyes on the fool as he released his hands, blade pushing tighter into his throat, and then moved his free hand to grasp at the thick leather bonds Ren kept in the compartment.
“Come little fool, let’s go play a game.” Ren’s sadistic smile reappeared as he tightly bonded the thief’s hands into the thick leather straps, knife never leaving place or losing its pressure. Ren kept the fool in a tight hold as he guided him out of the bathroom, and through his bedroom door. He moved him quickly towards the dining table, pulling a chair out. Ren wasn’t stupid, he made sure the chair was pulled far away enough that the thief couldn’t get to anything nearby. “Time to sit my little guest.” He hummed and pushed him down into the chair. Ren’s lips were frozen in their mad smile as he carefully bound the fool to the chair. Once down he took a step back to survey his work. He was anticipating what would come next.
♫ BATHTIME - self para
Ren walked out into his living room with a pair of baby pink footie pajamas on, an innocent smile playing over his lips. The outfit was one both he had Minki could agree on, soft and warm all around their body. He hummed softly to himself as he made his way into the very large kitchen, heading straight for the giant cabinet next to the stainless steel fridge. He dark orbs scanned over the contents of the food, only mildly interested. Ren grabbed a bag of animal crackers, the ones covered in frosting. He let out a happy little giggle and turned to go into the bedroom again.
The muffled screams coming from his bathroom didn’t bother Ren as he popped an animal cracker into his open mouth, a gleeful glint to his haunting eyes. He knew no matter how much the other screamed, no one would ever hear. His entire apartment was sound proofed, even the upstairs office and hidden weapons room. Ren even liked the screams. For him it just proved how much power he had in the situation.
Ren walked towards the bathroom in slow and lazy steps, pink footie slippers rubbing against his soft carpet. He push the door open with one pale perfectly manicured finger. Inside a body laid inside his large bath tub, tied up and gagged. Ren could coo at how lovely the sight was, the idiot so helpless and scared. Even in pink footies, the other was terrified of Ren, and he had good reason to be. “Have you been waiting for little old me?” He asked with a sweet smile. The man’s eyes only widened as he tried screaming louder.
“Go ahead baby boy, let it all out!” He laughed softly and moved to sit beside the tub. The man wasn’t a target or in trouble with the gang. Ren was torturing him for personal reasons. He was a fool, a photographer that had been bold enough to grope his precious Minki. Ren had taken over their body at that point and lured the fool into their apartment, and from there he ended up tied in his bathtub.
Tears streaked the photographer’s cheeks, proof of how weak he is. “I’m sorry baby, am I scaring you?” Ren rested his head on the edge of the tub and pouted playfully. “Do you want me to stop it?” The idiot nodded frantically and Ren only laughed.
“I’ll make the fear stop, don’t worry baby boy.” A cold knife was pressed against the photographer’s neck quick as lightning, and before he could even register what was happening, the knife dragged across his throat. Rich dark blood began pouring out of his neck, a pretty little waterfall. Ren watched in awe as it pooled inside his tub, beautiful and tick. The fool’s screams and cries only lasted a few more moments before he body went stiff.
Ren lifted his limp arms and dragged the knife up the length of each one. More blood gushed out in thick waves, a sight he craved. At this point Minki was blocking out everything. He didn’t want to see what Ren was doing. After he also dragged the knife down his chest and legs, the bath filling with blood. Once he felt he had enough, the pink footies came off, and Ren was tossing the bleeding body to the floor of his bathroom.
His naked body slipped into the thick pool of crimson, lips set into an impossibly happy grin. Blood coated his porcelain like pale skin, covering it in rich red. “So pretty….” He murmured to himself. Nothing was more beautiful to Ren than blood, and being covered in it was all the better. The dead body was long forgotten, and Ren spent the rest of his night enjoying his special bathtime.

* leather covered fingers could barely keep grip on the mask as he was grabbed from behind, and all too quickly it dropped from his grasp as he pushed back with all the body strength he could muster at that second, “christmas isn’t for another six months, buddy —” with the leather bodysuit that he wore, there was nothing in his way of being as flexible as he’d been known to be, so within an instance, he had one booted foot pressed firmly against the edge of the vanity, using it as a leverage point as he pushed back and flipped over the others shoulder, the momentum causing him to throw the other past the open door and into the room beside it. he himself slipped back on his heels, a hand touching the ground as he pulled the goggles back over his face to give him aid in the dark room. he could see the figure of what at first he would have mistaken for a woman, this idiot was nimble, he’d give him that. however now that he gave himself a second to stare, the puzzle pieces slipped together and he understood that this was ren, a figure in the joker crime ranks that wore the mask he’d been holding onto for only a short moment. what made the cat grin was the fact this idiot was unmasked. returning to a straightened posture, almost graceful in the manner, hak ran a hand across his leather sleeved arm, brushing out the nearly impossible wrinkles from their little encounter, “well i guess i got a bigger treasure than i expected, huh?” he cooed, voice sickly sweet in a way, “an unmasked clown…” he slipped back, feet planted firmly on the ground, his stance ready as he awaited a rather violent response.
