So y’all I finally saw Sonic 3 and…..

LET’S. FREAKIN. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Literally everything everyone was talking about it was spot on. The characterization, the plot, THE MUSIC, just fan-tastic! Yeah it ain’t perfect, but this movie came dang well close. Shadow looked so good, like you know it’s good CGI if you can’t stop staring at the character just to admire them. They simultaneously made him terrifying and so huggable, like what sorcery!?!? I can say in all honesty, I haven’t felt this hyped before and after live action type adaptation movie in years. My inner fangirl just irrupted during those big bang money scenes. With so many bad versions out there coming left and right I kind of lost hope, but Paramount just proved me wrong. It’s been so long since I’ve seen a movie cook so many times at once, like holy crap. The sonic movies deserve every single box office break they get.

I really don’t know why it’s so hard for studios to just listen to the fans and give them what they want to see. I mean there’s probably multiple sound reasons why, but it be a lot easier than trying to do some weird spin on it that no one asked for or that completely doesn’t work. This is how you make the big bucks people! Live and Learn!

The Mystic Force team really does feel like a group of childhood friends with Nick being the new guy who took a bit to fit into the group . The way they tease each other (painting each other, Nick pretending there’s a frog on Madison’s shoulder in the Daggeron episode, and the jokes about turning into a tree) but also comfort each other (Vida with Xander in the tree episode, Xander and Nick when they were alone in the store, Trying to cheer Madison up)

I also love how much physical they are with each other. Just take this clip with Stranger Within and see their movement.

Honestly I love how the cast really shows how close they are. It really feels like family. A close family. They are willing to protect each other but still like teasing and gettin annoyed at each other.
