Why Chapter 5's "Medical Horror" Tease felt like a total Bait-and-Switch

The Aesthetic We Were Promised

Remember those first teasers for Broken Things? The sterile operating tables, the surgical monitors, and those long, dim blue hospital corridors? I was so hyped for this. Most "scary hospitals" in games are just haunted ruins, but these shots looked like a Science Fiction Medical Nightmare. It looked cold, high-tech, and genuinely "biological."

What we got

Instead of a "haunted clinic," we ended up back in the usual industrial warehouse/orphanage vibe. While the "Labs" had some clinical elements, they felt like "Generic Factory Section #4" rather than the birthplace of the Bigger Bodies. We lost that heavy, claustrophobic atmosphere of an actual surgery ward that those early images promised.
