While I was uploading the last post about Jen's cat Kismet, my own sweet kitty, Hunter was:
Turning over my coffee cup and spilling half a cup on the rug
Unrolling 5 feet or more of toilet paper and shredding it about the bathroom
Jumping headfirst into his food/treat tote bag in an attempt to drag out multiple snacks (Mind you he had half a bowl of food readily available)
And finally...wrapping himself around my legs and rubbing his cheeks against my hand with a "I wub you" innocent look.

Proper firing technique:
Hands are wrapped correctly around grip
Thumbs are well away from slide
Arms are thrust forward, with right one pushing out, and left providing resistance pulling inward
Weapon is brought to eye level, aligning with back sight to ensure accurate sight picture
Shooter is presenting torso and hips where body armor is most likely to cover, instead of angling body to the side/favoring a one leg forward stance which would reveal unprotected flanks
Hair is long and sexy and expression is pissed off as hell
Body armor is form-fitting and bondage-like
Arm is metal
Assassin provides appropriate amount of angst by not remembering former lover, but wanting him dead anyway and proving willingness to do the job personally
Actor is method and basically perfect

Last night there was talk of donating some of our cat's toys in their toy basket that they never play with to a local rescue group. This morning I discovered one or both cats had been digging through the basket and toys were ALL OVER the floor.
Mind you, they had not TOUCHED these toys in months!
You know what this means.
They heard us, they understood. They went through the toys to get the ones they wanted before we donated them.
I'm not sure if I should be scared or amazed.
Deepest gratitude this Veterans Day for the men and women who have served or are serving in our military. Thank you.

Everybody says Seb isn’t like Bucky… but he IS. He’s Bucky without a mask on. Bucky’s always wearing some sort of mask. Even around Steve. Seb is what Bucky would be like if he’d had the chance to just ~be~.

Marvel has really good casting overall but heck did they ever knock it out of the park with Sebastian Stan. What other actor would have put as much work and care into a character with like 30 lines total over four movies. He read the comics and he researched the second world war and how soldiers coped with it and he researched ptsd and he listens to podcasts about healing from trauma to help him understand Bucky Barnes, and he learned about Bucky’s history and he spends time crafting a deeper character for him than the scripts ever did, he CARES about Bucky more than anyone else at the MCU ever did.
What he did in Winter Soldier alone with just his face, how he only had SIX LINES and he told us an entire greek tragedy of 70 years of torture with just his eyes. The vastness of the stories he tells us with his eyes even in scenes where he barely speaks, like the post-credit scene in Black Panther or the scene with Steve in Endgame where Sebastian decided, regardless of what the directors said, that Bucky was devastated that Steve was leaving him and played it so tragically. The nuance he put into the bar scene in TFA, how you can see written all over his face that Bucky is jealous of Steve and also heartbroken that maybe this big, tall, handsome Steve doesn’t need him anymore, you can see the exact moment Bucky realizes he isn’t the center of Steve’s world anymore and his heart shatters. The haunted look in his eyes for all of Civil War, juxtaposed against the sparkle in his eyes at the beginning of TFA before the war. How he talks about hoping Bucky finds peace and healing. Just The sheer amount of care he has lovingly put into this character. Marvel doesn’t deserve him but we’re so lucky they have him and that’s that on that.
