Series image for the new Radio 4 comedy/dramatisation of The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin staring David Haig. I mixed of archive imagery and Photoshop treatments to achieve a faithful remix of a genuine classic.

Updated a series of brand artworks to reflect new design guidelines for BBC Sounds radio comedies. I use a range of techniques using images from the BBC archives, inspiration from CD/Audiobook artwork, provided imagery and new design elements, to make older series stand out in the listings.
Series image for Radio 4′s American Dirt, based on the book cover art.
Brand image for BBC Radio 4 Extra series Comedy’s Coming Home
Composite and heavily stylised image for Radio 4 Drama: Futures by Alex Barr
Wedding stationery project
Perhaps my most important task to date! I’m in the process of designing my very own wedding stationery for my forthcoming marriage! I wanted some subtle video game references so the designs include many elements from Portal. Subtle enough that the older folk will think it looks nice, but the younger gamers will enjoy the easter egg.
The Save the Date is based on the level introduction signs from the game.
Some of the icons are bespoke, but inkeeping with the Portal style. All icons were rebuilt from scratch to make sure they match dimensions and quality.
The official invite has a more traditional style, but still incorporating Portal elements - reusing assets from the Save the Date. As does the RSVP card, which has tickboxes based on level exit signage in the game.
The Moore Wedding logo is based on the Aperture Science logo.
Please don’t sue me, Mr Newell - it’s borne of love! :)
Stylised photograph (taken by myself) for Radio 4′s 15 Minute Drama series Clutch, Throttle, Brake. Heavy use of filters and removal of brand-identifying logos.
This image was produced to meet a tight deadline.
Composite image for Radio 4 drama Leaving, a story with Brexit themes. This image used two low-quality stills from the archives, effects applied to reduce grain and improve vibrance.
Composite treatment for Radio Ulster’s The Secret Life of Spiders. Strong filters were used to soften the background spiders to give context but respect our audiences’ sensitivities!
This was made for some friends, who commented that their babies looked like they were fighting comic book/anime style while they were asleep on a mat. I made it so :)
BBC+ App header images.
I was tasked with sourcing, editing and producing almost all of the BBC+ app header images ready for alpha/beta launch. This required approximately 60 images which would work with a bank of gradient overlays and with regard to on-screen furniture which would cover various areas of the image. Aspect ratios for different mobile devices was also taken into consideration. I helped to refine requirements and best practice for image selection.
Additionally, I took photographs where possible (the video game controller in hands is wholly mine).
The app is now live and available for Android and iOS devices.
Composite 8-bit style image for Radio 4′s While My Guitar Gently Bleeps, featuring Isy Suttie. A combination of hand-drawn Illustrator graphics and Photoshop filters.
V1 was wholly 8-bit style, but production requested a bit less pixellation on Isy herself. A gradient was applied for a more flattering appearance :)
Composite image for BBC Radio Ulster’s Jocelyn and the Radio Star, TX 11 February 2016.
This was just a bit of fun/a tutorial for my colleague, who wanted to know how KissFMUK had produced this style of image. I reproduced the image from scratch but replaced Beyonce with him! :)
(The second image shows what he wanted and wasn’t produced by me).
Created composite image for Dan and Phil’s Christmas Special, promoted on Red Button+
A lovely owl, hand-drawn and coloured by me in Photoshop :)
