a man of many names! any pronouns. white adult ('02). disabled, disordered and often forgetful. i keep most of my interests and art strictly to side blogs.
just don't be a bigot or (i can't believe i have to say this) a pedophile/incest enthusiast and i probably won't block you.
i'd also prefer if minors didn't follow me here, as this is my personal blog.
as a trans man, calling myself a "full-grown man" in front of cis people and watching their reaction is a great litmus test for their attitudes towards transmasculinity
sometimes (way more often than i'd like) cis people who consider themselves "allies" or transfriendly or however they wanna put it still see trans men as confused little girls and personally i will shake that notion out of every cis person i interact with one way or another
The opposite of that for me is referring to childhood me as a little girl. Even the most self-disciplined closet transmisogynist, cis or otherwise, won't sit still for that. For some reason it sets them off.
big picture for transfeminism, there are transfems making tik toks where they say "i'll never be a real girl and i just have to learn to accept it" getting 100k+ views and girls flooding their comments going "oh yeah me too :( i feel this :(" and priority number one needs to be saving their lives i'm so serious. obviously some of this is a manifestation of dysphoria (expressed in the only language they have, steeped in transmisogyny) but a great many of them need to hear, unequivocally, that they are girls, they are women, and nothing and nobody can ever take that from them. the louder we are the harder it is for all of the eggs and self-hating trans girls to believe that they are at fault for any of the abuse levied at us day in and day out by a dominant culture that is fueled by our own extermination.
"Would I bomb a village to get my teeth fixed? I'd like to think I wouldn't but I haven't had to make that decision." I have. Fuck off. Fuck you.
Sometimes it really is as simple as it seems: All cops are bastards, and the US military are the cops of the world. I hope your army brat cousin steps on a landmine.
As someone who actually did grow up in poverty, is still living in poverty, and will in all likelihood die in poverty, the way people on here talk about people living in poverty as if they swallow any lie and will do any fucked up thing to get out of it is not only inaccurate, it's insulting.
My name is Mohammed, and I’m 35 years old, working as a nurse in a hospital here in Gaza. My wife, Diana, is 27, and together we’re trying to give our two young daughters a safe, stable life in a place that knows so little of either.
Our journey began in December 2023. That was when the military ordered us to evacuate our home in Al-Nuseirat. With only minutes to decide, we grabbed what we could carry, took our little girls, and moved to Khan Yunis, hoping it would be safer.
But our time there was short. We were ordered to leave Khan Yunis, so we packed up again and moved to Rafah. For a moment, we let ourselves hope that this would be the end of our running, that maybe we could start to rebuild. But Rafah wasn't safe either. Another order came, and we had no choice but to return to Al-Nuseirat, despite the dangers.
Today, we're renting a small apartment in Al-Nuseirat. It barely fits us, but it's the only place we can go. We live every day in fear, wondering if the next evacuation order will come. Each move takes away a bit more of the stability we try so hard to create for our girls. Every time we’re forced to flee, it feels like we leave behind pieces of the life we’ve worked to build.
There’s little left to hold on to but each other, and the hope that maybe one day we’ll finally find safety.

The average tumblr user is ostensibly in favor of multiculturalism and universal tolerance but also has the bone-deep certainty that there is one Correct set of etiquette to follow in all situations and anyone who doesn't understand and accept it should be viciously mocked like the unpopular kids in a 1980s teen comedy.
