Very happy currently! My English professor read my essay and said I have advanced writing and should definitely be an English major! I was on the fence about changing my major, but validation from someone I respect helped me decide! I also had lunch with a new friend I made which made me happy. Now to finally fill out my calendar for November.

I have an accounting exam, a British Literature exam, as well as an essay in Lit due this week. I’m studying in my favorite place at my campus Starbucks. Although I nearly found myself overwhelmed, it’s important to remind yourself that staying calm is the key. Even if you don’t get every little thing finished, a calm mind is much more productive than a panicked one. I wrote my essay over Meditation 17 by John Donne, which is now one of my favorites! Currently I am studying Spenserian sonnets that I will have to analyze on the test.

My interests going into this blog

I love classic literature! I am currently trying to find time to read more after studying.

I love movies, like the ones that always have Oscar buzz. Some of my favorites are Lady Bird, First Reformed, Gone Girl, and Nightcrawler.

I love trying new foods! Especially discovering little cafes, diners, hole in the walls, etc.

I am an English major with a Business Administration minor. I’m currently planning on going into publishing after graduation!
