I’ve been job searching since before I quit, but I’m currently still unemployed. So! Commissions are open. My Outfit Lineup Comms are still available, but I thought I’d offer something cheaper for people who don’t have the budget for them!

Lucio’s route: heavily implied that Morga’s treatment was pretty damn awful to the point of pushing Lucio away to constantly scream in a cave and not tell anyone where he was going. Morga in Muriel’s route: apparently all of her abusive behavior is ok because????

because some people think it makes morga “strong”. it’s surely not abusive behavior, they say, because in the context of the scourge’s culture, her actions and expectations are totally justified. of course this totally disregards the fairly obvious notion that perhaps the culture of the scourge is inherently toxic and violent, but whatever I guess. but then of course some people will also say, well, she grew up in said culture and is probably just as much a victim to the cycle of abuse said culture created, but if you make that argument about morga, you better apply the same fucking standard to her son. if morga is a byproduct of her culture/upbringing and not inherently bad, then so is lucio. you literally CANNOT claim lucio is evil if in the same breath you say morga is not. both of them are byproducts of the scourge, but both of them are still responsible for their own actions regardless.

also like, Real Talk, the main thing that pisses me the fuck off is that morga is literally a warlord. she has murdered people in the name of conquest for her tribe, likely MORE people than lucio has (at least intentionally) in her lifetime, but people are willing to give this a pass because, eh, well she hasn’t murdered anyone we like, she hasn’t personally victimized anyone we like. who gives a shit if she was terrible to her son? he turned out to be a piece of shit for some completely inexplicable reason so this obviously retroactively justifies anything that happens to him at any given point in his life. granted she’s now forcing her own ideals onto muriel and disregarding his trauma due to some perception that he needs to fight, but this is for some batshit insane reason being treated as the Correct Decision in the narrative and i aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
