Shadow Milk being EVERYWHERE in Kingdom's Lore Compilation Post

Exhibit A: It's Still Blue, Yo.

The Soul Jam of Truth does NOT change colors AT ALL to match it's new master.

Unlike the other Ancients, Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam has always been stark, cold blue against his warm yellow, white and gold color pallet. That blue has always been a part of his final design since the game debut. This is also shown through the fact that Shadow Milk can still speak and see through the Soul Jam of Truth, even if it doesn't actually "belong" to him anymore, imitating it's voice and all.

You can even see Shadow Milk's eye symbolism in the portrait above too. He clearly went to the Bill Cipher school of foreshadowing his ominous presence over everything, as we will see later.

Exhibit B: The Blueberries Have Eyes, And Other Yogurt Related Academies

And Blueberries are tied to magic and mystery too. Shadow Milk Cookie's symbol IS AN EYE. Wherever a watching gaze lies, it's almost certainly Shadow Milk Cookie behind it.

And you know, that includes all over the Blueberry Yogurt Academy, an academy heavily implied to if not outright confirmed to be founded by the Fount of Knowledge.

And let's not remiss the First Headmaster being directly referenced in the Game of Truth and Deceit title card.

All of these guys also have Fountie's star shaped lock on their outfits, though without the keyhole. All figures of authority and teachers at the Blueberry Yogurt Academy.

The monsters inhabiting the school are also chess themed.

Which of course carries over to the Spire of Deceit itself with similar looking, chess themed enemies inside it's roster.

And while we're in Blueberry Yogurt, let's not forget:

Okay I think it’s about time I finally talk about the Light of Solidarity Cookie but also a bit more of Ash Salt Cookie I want to point out. Granted I could have said more in my previous post but I wanted to focus more on Shadow Milk and that Act 2 has merely just started. But there’re still room to speculate and theorize what comes next

First let’s start off with Ash Salt Cookie, I already said how her origins came to be but I didn’t get to go on how I think some of her kingdom quotes might foreshadow that she’ll betrayed Shadow Milk. I obviously won’t be surprised if that will actually happened, she’ll eventually learn the truth how she was born and that Shadow Milk was just merely using her for his grand plan. (I even once theorize in one of my posts that Black Sapphire and Candy Apple might eventually leave SM from seeing their master’s deteriorating mental state or SM pushing them away leading them to team up with Gingerbrave and the others to bring SM back)

Now with this update we learn that according to the Light of Solidarity Cookie, she states that the First Oven the birthplace of the Soul Jam and Gingerbrave himself. But then we have this infamous option here.

I have no doubt this might foreshadow Gingerbrave potentially have an awakening form. Plus Act 2’s prologue already sets up his connection to both the Ultimate Cookie and the Light of Solidarity. We know BY 15 confirmed that Gingerbrave is a cookie made from the Brave Cookie Recipe, which seems to be the foundation main recipe for cookiekind and why he was the perfect host for the UC

So there’s a possibility that the Beasts and Ancient’s soul jam might merge into one, their true light. Now I don’t think it means this comes at the cost of the ancients sharing the same fate as White Lily and Silent Salt. It’s probably just a different case. We know that the Soul Jam have been split up and SM has 4 out of the ten (That being Deceit, Apathy, Sloth and Destruction)

Annd ohhh boy was the timing I made this post perfect because just today we were given this huge info. It’s unsurprising that the virtues decided to abandoned the Beasts ._.

Not only that but, we constantly hear Burning Spice (Although this is just in BY 5 & 6 from what I can remember) and most especially Shadow Milk calling their respective ancient counterparts “thieves” when in actuality, it wasn’t the Beasts that abandoned them or the soul jam weren’t stolen at all, the virtues basically just dipped. But damn, the Soul Jam are kinda sketchy (I think morally grey is the right word for it actually)…including the Light of Knowledge ._.

I know that the Beasts were unfortunately doomed from the start (And it doesn’t help that their creators unintentionally abandoned them due to First Egg Cookie) but I guess even their Soul Jam couldn’t properly guide them. Although I guess it might be a similar situation with White Lily, where at some point she couldn't hear her Light of Freedom anymore. So this might've been the same for the beasts also; they couldn't hear their own respective lights anymore because they decided to follow their paths leading to corruption or for MF and BS’s case being in their lowest moment after going through some shit. But take it with a grain of salt, this is just my theory ._.

As for what happens next, probably after May and the summer updates according to the roadmap, we might get a story focusing on Gingerbrave, Wizard, and Strawberry along with Pure Vanilla go to the First Oven where he and the Soul Jam were made, and presumably we probably might get to see Gingerbrave’s creator (Hopefully the witch will finally be important to the story XD). But also possible implications that Gingerbrave could be the next new holder of the Light of Solidarity thanks to the new big info that just got dropped

Not only that but I think sometime in the future during halfway in Act 2, once SM is finally defeated we might get the First Cookies/Witches dragged in to set up the Ultimate Cookie storyline. The true ultimate battle between Hope and Despair but hey that’s just what I think anyway

Oh my gosh I can’t believe I forgot to point this out 🤦‍♀️

it makes sense why the Soul Jam lack any empathy or even bother to try to help the Beasts or Ancients. They’re like entities in a way, act as forces of nature to maintain balance since they’re literally created by the witches to help the Beasts lead cookiekind.

Also it seems, from what I can understand when the soul jam doesn’t have a welder, they don’t seem really have much emotion or personality. But when they have a chosen holder, they start speaking in their voice and personality. And of course I mentioned the possibility that the beasts couldn’t resonate or hear their soul jam anymore since it happened to White Lily 

If anything these guys are morally grey at best and worse but doing what they believe is necessary right for the sake of the Cookie World.

And as for that Light of Solidarity Cookie (Ngl it was kinda funny how the fandom went from: “Aww!” to “KILL IT WITH FIRE!” when we got this bombshell update XD)…uhh I dunno, who knows maybe this light will be different since she is made from White Lily’s Light of Freedom and Silent Salt’s Light of Solidarity, she might have her own character ._.'

CRK Spoilers

Dude I called it! I knew Shadow Milk was gonna have multiple personalities from the three beasts, also can we talk about how incredible the voice acting is. Kudos to his English VA, CJ is really killing it. Ngl, this scene genuinely made me feel a little disturbed and worried.

SM is suffering from multiple personalities and having an existential crisis to the point that even the Ultimate Cookie takes over, and I think the UC influence SM the idea of becoming a god (Which partially makes sense since the Ultimate Cookie was made to surpassed all cookies even the witches), like his grand plan is really a ambitious hodgepodge if you think about it ._.

And man Elder Faerie and Silent Salt (I feel so bad for the shippers) can’t catch a break. Instead of being killed, EF got sealed away in the Silver Tree by SMC while Silent Salt received a worse fate than death. His dough is literally being reconstructed if you look closely at the cutscene. He’s now a mindless beast (However I heard some people online pointing out that Silent Salt still vaguely resembles a cookie, possibly indicating that there’s still some of him left in there, fighting against SM’s corruption. It’s a plausible theory but who knows?) ._.

As for Ash Salt Cookie, her origins is interesting…I mean her body is basically a bunch of crumbled remains of the fallen kala namak knights that lost their lives, it’s even heavily implied in her story description. Born from the ashes.… ._.

We know as the update comes closer the fate of the cookie-verse and the future is gonna get screwed but now that it’s finally here…the fact that Shadow Milk “won” in a future timeline is horrific. Like obviously I knew his plan was bound to end up going wrong. He succeeded in creating so much chaos and becoming a “god” that time and space has warped.

Earthbread is just an apocalyptic wasteland (Everyone is fucking dead except a version of Timekeeper Cookie) filled with only bug kaijus that SM turned “his friends” (I’m pretty sure he even did it to his past self since he went back to the past through the dimensional rift) into and this just shows how absolutely mental unstable he has and WILL dangerously become (And I guess he probably has a bug form as well) if he continues.

It’s not just him who’s suffering but the beasts (MF’s bug monster design is terrifying and feels straight out of a horror movie or game ._.) since obviously they’re mindless monsters, their autonomy is removed without no thought or capable of feelings. Thankfully at least, this future is now erased thanks to Croissant Cookie’s efforts but the past remains unchanged. I think it might be safe to say chances that he’ll get a redemption arc are probably very low given the current state at the time I’m writing this. Even though in that timeline where he somewhat succeeded, he’s still suffering (It doesn’t help that the soul of the Ultimate Cookie is still within him along with countless souls so it’s pretty much a living hellish nightmare for him), can’t believe I’m saying this but this feels quite rightfully fitting yet tragic for him that I freaking love and hate him for who he is

Let me be very clear, I’m not saying this being an SM hater or out of pettiness, I'm saying this because he is an incredible well written villain, his backstory heavily explains why he's driven to insanity and has committed so MANY atrocities (That includes the other Beasts as well and Black Sapphire is highly guilty of this since he help in starting the downfall of the Kala Namak Knights by starting the rumors to turn cookies against them) that can be easily forgiven or swept aside. His motives practically shaped him to a point of no turning back. Of course he’s gonna be the next main villain after Dark Enchantress, he’s going to continue spiraling down no matter the cost, he's not getting what he desperately yearned and ached for, for every harsh truth he faces he’ll stubbornly pushes aside it and lash out and unfortunately it just continues going bad and bad for him throughout his story. One of the things about Shadow Milk is control, the star he so desperately has to be with his highly theatrical performances, that he’ll twist and stretch every truth into lies HIS WAY into a spectacular chaos. “His perfect world”

Remember one of his main motives that started all of this from the beginning is his obsession with the Witches, he's been trying so hard to get their attention to get them to see him and actual do something to the point it's driving him insane that the “Godly creators” who put him in this situation in the first place couldn't care less what’s happening to the state of the cookie world. He even says "Did they even watch?!" when talking about how he turned the world into chaos and panic or how in Dominion of the Beasts, a vision of him as the Fount of Knowledge ponders why the witches created cookies, the very main question and theme that influenced around some specific characters in the CRK universe.

Sure his downfall doesn’t need to be extremely brutal, it just needs to be a satisfying comeuppance where he DESERVES what he is about to get but show some some ounce of humanity and left in him, making it tragic yet deserving so that we as the viewers and audience do realize to understand that he got what he deserved but at the end it was still tragic. But hey maybe in the future he’ll probably team up with our heroes whenever the next big bad shows up. I’ll make a part 2 short post about the Light of Solidarity, I still have a lot of thoughts I need to say

It’s crazy that Mother 3 has turn 20 years old, I didn’t know that until today. I actually got into the Mother series last year (2025) during the summer I think (Surprisingly I managed to play the first two games in like a week since I was playing it on NSO XD). I started playing Earthbound then Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings and finally Mother 3, however I haven’t finished the third game yet as I still need to progress through Chapter 7 XD

The mother series is a video game series I never expect to get so into (Obviously if you are like me, your first introduction to Mother series was through Smash Bros, having that one classmate of yours playing as Ness spamming PK Fire or PK Thunder). I laughed, smiled but most importantly cry. It taught me about the power of love, trauma and grief. Honestly this series feels like a therapy session, when we’re adults playing this game it feels like we’re kids again but when kids play this, they become an adult. And as someone who's a young adult still trying to figured things out in the world, it felt like the game that speak to me deeply especially after going through a lot, I loved this game and I kinda wish I gave it a chance to play it early back when I was going through the hardest time in my life. Recently I’ve been replaying the first two mother games, say what you will about mother 1 but I have a soft spot for it despite the very outdated NES technical aspects (Personally out of the mother trilogy, this one desperately needs a remake but hey that’s what fangames are here for ^_^). Earthbound is imo one of my favorite video games ever (The soundtrack still freaking goes hard, the capabilities of the snes will always impressed me), especially coming from the SNES library. Second time I’m playing this, there’s still a bunch of stuff I didn’t know.

Mother 3 is still one of the best games I ever play, I recommend anyone checking it out (Believe me, I mostly play RPGs like Pokemon, Mario & Luigi Brothership or Paper Mario TTYD a lot) and just play the English translation cuz let’s be real here, Nintendo will never localized it in the next 5 or 10 years. Words cannot describe this game, there’s so much to say and I can’t imagine how much this game deeply connected to so many people. But yeah, happy 20th anniversary Mother 3! No crying til the end!

Ovenbreak Spoilers

Okay can we talk about the fact that not only CROB Dark Enchantress Cookie saw the death of her Kingdom counterpart as well as herself getting arrested, but also the TBD tried to arrest her since Timekeeper Cookie KNEW she and the Cookies of Darkness were watching her through the mirror, at this point DE knew waaay too much ._.

She wasn't supposed to be aware of other timelines and now that she knows, she plans to create her perfect timeline where the witches never exist so that cookies will never be eaten (Although I somehow don't understand the logic of her plan but that's just me). This really spikes her levels of dangerous as she seen the possible mistakes in some of her plans ._.

This update is insane, like this has no reason to be this good. It gave us more good characterization and screen time for Agar Agar and Red Velvet, two cookies who felt a bit underutilized and needed more story moments in CRK, at least imo. No doubt this storyline will absolutely connected to CRK, the signs are clear and I feel like Shadow Milk will either take advantage of CROB DE's plans or how I mentioned in one of my previous posts about how OB DE creating a divergent timeline possibly leading to CRK's legendaries getting corrupted.

Although...that leaves me with just one question? Who's the being in the mirror that show DE the vision? Because I don't think it's Shadow Milk, it's definitely an unknown villain. Possibly setting up as the true villain for OB and CRK's timeline shtick. Either way, OB Dark Enchantress and Shadow Milk are still serious threats ._.

I really want to see more of this DE storyline continued in the future, maybe for Ovenbreak's 10th anniversary but that's just my early assumption since I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully with the recent update, it might drag in some CRK players get into Ovenbreak. Keep in mind Ovenbreak is different than Kingdom in terms of story and characters, plus that game requires tons of skill. And hey you get to meet cookies you never met in Kingdom before as well as meeting cookies from CRK who originated from Ovenbreak or Kakao/Line ^_^

But uh yeah we are so cooked… XD

In Lloyd’s draconus form in DR season 4, theres one detail I couldn’t help realising.

Lloyd sounds a lot like Garmadon.

Of course, not exactly like Garmadon, but hear me out.

The deepness in Lloyd’s voice sounds so much like pilots/oni Garmadon, whilst the actual tone and softness sounds so much like Sensei Garmadon.

And I just think thats so important because Lloyd aims so hard to not be like his father, and yet his dragon state connects him to the one version his father longed to be like. Garmadon, for so long, despised his oni form, despised the evil that ran through his veins. I imagine he longed to be more like the respected Dragons, more like Wu, than we could think.

So Lloyd sounding like Garmadon? Like Sensei Garmadon? In the form that connects him to all life, unleashes his inner dragon, and allows him to be the hero he wants to be? It just sounds so bittersweet. He looks so much like his father, and now he even sounds like him at times. Lloyd really is everything Garmadon ever wished for.

Also can Lloyd stop hitting new levels of puberty no one deserves to get a voice that deep when they’re already in their 20s.

[Warning: This post contains spoilers for Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 4 Part 1] 

We are so back!

I just finished the first half of the seasons, last night. It gave us more explanation and expanded on Lloyd’s powers as well as his purpose as the Element Master of Life, they really nailed it. His dragon form is really cool tho even his voice is deep when he’s in that form, really symbolizes his maturity and understanding (And most likely his dragon heritage since he’s half dragon and oni) of his powers. Also, it’s nice hearing Lloyd’s OG voice actor Jillian Micheals reprising her role…brings back memories. Nice to see the child and young tween (Keep in mind the young pre teen version is what we could’ve seen had Lloyd not skip over his age from the tomorrow’s tea) versions of Lloyd still being a little shit, I missed that so much XD

Jay having his memories back was expected of course but at least it wasn’t immediately, like it’s taking time for his memories (I wonder if they’re going to bring up Skybound since he’s still hasn’t remember the events yet) to recover and have his outbursts here and then. Now that doesn’t mean he revert back to how he was S11-15 since I noticed he still pick up his old skills while maintaining his mannerisms as Rogue in the last season. I love how Jay and Nya (It was funny seeing them kissing so long in front of Kai lol) come so far from how they were in the original show and it made me love this ship more and why Jaya matters (Seabound still messes me up tho)

However I’m still curious as to why Jay was the only one of the ninja to get amnesia. And why did the Administration covered up and hide that he’s a ninja? Why did they gave him a fake backstory of him working for them? I hope we get more answers soon, I’m getting the impression the writers will continue this significant plotline in the larger half. The flashback we saw really intrigued but confused me, something definitely must have happened during the merge ._.

I also like how the episodes took it’s time for the side characters like Euphrasia (I’m really starting to enjoyed her a lot as well as her moments with Arin. They’re clearly setting them up XD), Wyldfire acting as the straight-woman of the trio while still her fiery self, Cole gets his cool moments to shine. Oh yeah Zane even gets his development too as he’s showing more emotions (Like making jokes or doing art) than his logical side we usually mostly see which is such a huge improvement for him literally both meta and narrative wise, he’s back to being how he is in the early seasons of the original show (I even love the little short scene where he and Pixal dance. So freaking adorable ^_^) 

I even enjoyed how they expand on Frak, continuing his journey and how Sora is helping him out. I hate his dad though (Might just be the closest to #1 winner for worst parent award next to Sora’s parents. He really starting to test my patience. I was waiting for the moment for Frak to finally speak up), like I can understand where he’s coming from considering the Serpentine’s reputation and their difficult history (And “Never trust a snake”) but he wasn’t there where his son needed him the most and prioritized the Explorers Club over his family. Even though he showed that he cared for his son at least, for now it’s too late to make amends and Frak has every right to be mad at him. If this season continues Frak’s storyline and a possible redemption for his father in the future, they might hopefully reconcile. However we still don’t know much about his mother, at least personality wise

Oh yeah, speaking of parents (Shoutout to Arin’s parents, they’re literally the best parents out of the new ninja parents) I was wondering when Sora’s parents would show up. I’ve been waiting for the moment where they’ll show up since they’re Imperium loyalists to Beatrix. And by the looks of the last episode where they enter the monastery, it seems like they’re plotting something whatever while manipulating Sora by saying that they want to be a family again. I’m getting the feeling from how Sora acted in the last episode, she still misses her parents. Maybe they’re planning to free Beatrix? And if that’s the case then good grief, I feel so bad for her…her parents suck ._.

Oh yeah any Morro fans out there, don’t worry he’s okay after Thunderfang’s defeat. I really hope and want to see he and ninja meet up. He’s still in the Spectral Lands with Egalt. I tear up a bit when Egalt and Rontu reunited for a brief while and seeing Riyu evolving more, like getting bigger was awesome to see (I heard some theories online that Riyu might become the next Source Dragon of Balance) ^_^

I kinda wish they gave Ras a bit more screen time since he only show up at the end of Episode 10 for like a few seconds but I can see why they didn’t, we’ll definitely see more of him and whatever he’s planning in part 2. Now that he’s got the third source icon (which is a bow) he sounds really pissed at his master. Even though we don’t know the identity of his master, I’m getting the feeling we either might see the reveal in the finale or season 5 but that’s just my early assumption. I still don’t think his master could be one of the source dragons. I did heard that this season is gonna be darker so if anything part 1 might just be the calm before the storm but who knows? 🤔

Overall I really had fun watching this season, I was smiling and laughing (even tear up during a few scenes) this entire time to the point I almost forgot Ras is still out there. Like there were moments in the show that caught me off guard and some twists I didn’t expect. I’m looking forward to see what the rest of season 4 has to offer. Does it had some flaws? Yeah, but it’s a huge step up and I hope they keep this consistency well in part 2. I think this season might be the best so far but we’ll had to see what comes next ^_^

So that explains it. It’s not Kingdom DE (However she did play a huge part in opening the rifts) but CROB Dark Enchantress that will meet Timekeeper Cookie according to what they show in the roadmap months ago. Obviously we know Shadow Milk is out there trying to destroy the cookie timelines

That’s where the corrupted legendaries come into the picture. DE needs the power of the guardians of nature to wield the power of time so that she can create her new world she desired. Maybe because of that, this leads to creating a timeline of the legendaries being corrupted or the legendaries from the core CRK timeline we know fallen to darkness instead 🤔 

Still, I’m really glad that Devsis went back to focus on the Dark Enchantress storyline in Ovenbreak since she’s been sidelined for 3 years ever since Longan Dragon made their debut. I’m looking forward to where the story continues ^_^

Honestly I don’t know if Devsis will ever bring this up in future stories but considering the ending of BY episode 15, who knows? As far as I know, apparently this witch could be Matilda. The only witches we most familiar with in cookie run besides Matilda are the First Cookies, Shadow Witch, Witches from the banquet (The ones who created Dark Enchantress), and that unknown witch from BY. 15

Hey Megaman Fandom on tumblr (tumbleweeds go by) I'm reaching out because I'm conducting a survey to sate my own curiosity.

For each line of Robot Masters from Mainline Classic Games (Megaman 1-11 + Bass), Who is the "Leader" of their line? Do they have multiple Leaders? Do they have a Leader at all? Why/Why Not? (Optional)

MM1: Elec Man (Since Archie and Ariga depict them as a leader out of the mm1 robot masters and he gives me older brother vibes despite canonically being the youngest aka DLN-008) but I definitely see Fire Man as second in command because of that scene in the comics where the Mecha Dragon show up during when they stormed the wily castle to rescue megaman, that brief interaction gave me the impression Elec and Fire respect each other in a way despite their personalities 

MM2: I wanna say Quick Man (Again because of the archie comics and how he’s written as like a rival to Mega Man early on) but since Metal Man is built first, I like to think they have little rivalry over the leadership sometimes or take turns 

MM3: Magnet Man actually, I would have said Shadow Man but he has more of a stealthy type, plus he’s a ninja and ninja are stealthy. So Magnet Man is the best choice

MM4: Ngl, this is a hard one since we got plenty of good options here. Pharaoh Man is definitely my go to pick (You can easily figured out why) but there’s Dive Man, Ring Man and Skull Man. I like to think depending on missions and what they specialize at they lead the Cossack Numbers 🤔

MM5: Either Gyro Man or Crystal Man believe it or not. I just think either of them would be capable of leading the mm5 team and maybe Napalm Man could act as second in command or something given…well his weapons of course (Also shoutout to the rest of the mm5 numbers working as a parting job in an amusement park in megamix XD). Either that or just like how I say about the Cossack numbers, they take turns whoever is leading depending on the situation

MM6: I don’t know if the mm6 robot masters could form a team but I can see them as a friend group keeping in touch after the events of 6. Either Yamato Man or Knight Man, they just fit the type to me based on their design and personality.

MM7: Either Freeze Man or Shade Man. I don’t have much to say unfortunately those are the only two that come to my mind 

MM8: Sword Man or Tengu Man. Sword Man because of his sick ass design especially with that huge sword and Tengu Man because I feel like he would be the arrogant confident type to boast that he’s leader and all 

MM&B: I haven’t played MM&B yet. If it wasn’t King leading then I would probably say Pirate Man. Tengu Man and Astro Man are out of the picture since they’re built/stolen by Wily and joined King 

MM9: The easiest pick for me is Tornado Man, he feels like the face out of the MM9 robots and has a very memorable design at least to me. That and also that one scene during the MM9 credits where he’s with Mega Man. Splash Woman or Magma Man can act as second in command of the group

MM10: I’m not even sure if the mm10 robots could form a group given the events the game. However, if they were then Commando Man is the best candidate but there’s also Solar Man and Blade Man.

MM11: I haven’t played 11 so I gotta say Fuse Man or Torch Man 

MMWI-IV/MMK: Enker is obvious since he’s literally the first Mega Man Killer built and met first (I used to think it was actually Ballade sometimes lol XD) 

Wily Wars/Genesis Unit: Either Buster Rod G or Mega Water S. I think the mm wiki fandom states that Hyper Storm H avoids conflicts between the two, so I can see him act as some sort of mediator or the middle man out of the trio when the Buster Rod and Mega Water are fighting 

MMWV/Stardroids: Terra obviously, since he literally commands the Stardroids but Sunstar is the true leader of them. So if Sunstar is out of commission, then Terra takes charge

Okay did anyone get confused when they first saw this scene after the credits? I had so many questions on this but we know that the Ultimate Cookie will come back in the future.

Either this person is an entirely different witch we never seen before or the one from the witches banquet. However the most possible candidate I’ve seen some fans point out to is First Egg Cookie but she’s controlling the human body of the Witch of Light and the top of her hat has a swirl like her cookie design if you look closely at the shadow. However we don’t have First Egg’s official human design yet at this point

She’ll be the last First Cookie to be released once First Vanilla, First Green Tea, First Honey, and First Yeast become playable in the future. Since witch’s castle is a prequel to kingdom as we got confirmation that some of the First Cookies like First Milk, First Salt and First Sugar created Shadow Milk, Silent Salt and Eternal Sugar Cookie.

Regardless whoever grabbed the Ultimate Cookie, they will most likely played a huge vital role sometime around act 2, either for CRK’s 10th anniversary or a possible act 3 but that’s just my assumption ._.

Into the Cookie-verse

Y’know I actually wanted to post this first before making the post about the beasts not being dead but when I was writing this I thought it be best to acknowledge and just speak in my opinion about the beast’s fate. But yeah it’s time I talk more about Shadow Milk Cookie. Specifically how the tarot cards back in Beacon of Hope foreshadow how he is now at the end of BY Ep. 15 and my crackshit theories on what could happened on Act 2 with the first episode, Arcana of Deceit and Truth. Of course keep in mind, this is all just speculation and ramblings from me

Ever since the reveal of the animatic trailer showing Act 2, there’s been a lot of excitement and guessing for what could happened in the story. But what I want to point out is how this update made me look back at BY Ep. 8 Beacon of Hope at the tarot card scene before Shadow Milk change them. So I’ll be breaking down what they mean and after the change

Before

Devil — SM's unhealthy obsession mixed with loathing towards PV. As well as creating unlimited chaos to get the witches attention etc. His insecurities, pride

Death — Shadow Milk had a huge play in Pure Vanilla's Awakening and let himself get tricked by his ancient counterpart. However it could also mean that considering he was the Fount of Knowledge, he went through a drastic change but still hold back by the past and unchecked trauma, loneliness, self hatred, fully unable to moved on 

Judgement - After learning of Silent Salt's "betrayal" and literally get stabbed by him in the front, SM absorbed the essence of the Ultimate Cookie along with MF, BS, and ES transforming into something even more chaotic that he now plans to create more diverge timelines in order to create his perfect timeline where deceit and chaos reign, as well as playing the Game of Truth and Deceit again with Pure Vanilla.

After

Wheel of Fortune - Upward: Luck, karmic cycles, turning points, new opportunities, fated encounters, and understanding the nature of life. Reverse: Loss of control, disruption, unpleasant change, setbacks

The Emperor (Black Sapphire) - Upward: representing structure, stability, and authority, symbolizes the need for control and logical, disciplined action in life. Reverse: Suggests abuse of power, lack of control, or excessive rigidity. It may indicate a need to stop avoiding responsibilities and instead take charge of your life to create order

The High Priestess (Candy Apple) - Upward: intuition, mystery, subconscious wisdom, and the divine feminine. Reverse: Repressed intuition, ignoring inner guidance, secrets, superficiality, and disconnection from oneself

Now

In the animatic trailer, we’re shown three specific tarot cards. Wheel of Fortune both upright for Timekeeper and downwards for Shadow Milk but also the Hermit card which shows Pure Vanilla, basically the card means introspection, solitude, and the search for inner wisdom. Upright: Soul searching, spiritual journey, solitude and self reflection. Reverse: isolation, loneliness, being antisocial, refusing to accept truths.

However if you look very closely at SM’s card, I heard many people say it has the ouroboros, a snake eating its own tail which represents the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth but could symbolized the fact Shadow Milk’s self destructive behavior in this endless cycle that he can never moved on from his painful past, trauma, the witches or get over the fact that Silent Salt “betrayed him”. Instead of moving on and accept what has happened, he holds a deep bitter grudge to not only to the Witches and cookies but everyone

Theory Time: No Turning Back and the Future of the Cookie-verse

For those who don’t know who Timekeeper Cookie is or completely new to Cookie Run in general, she’s a legendary cookie originated from Ovenbreak who made her debut in 2020. She’s the director of the Time Balance Department or TBD for short, she also happens to be the future self of Croissant Cookie (A cookie who also made her debut in Ovenbreak and first show up in Kingdom as an NPC in the Inter-dimensional Super Mayhem story) from another timeline. What the TBD does is that they check and maintain balance within the timestream of the cookie universe. Think of them as sorta like Marvel’s MCU TVA from Loki. If you want to watch stories about the TBD to learn more, then I highly recommend checking out “Operation Timeguard”, “Save the Future” and the current story that was just released back in January, “Operation: Now Hiring!”

In the trailer of OvenBreak’s previous update, they explain how timelines work. An important detail to note is that when an unexpected event from a core timeline occurs, splitting to create diverge timelines, but when these grow, it can become so overwhelming and chaotic. If these aren’t trimmed away, the sheer volume of energy from the core timeline can cause it to lapse out of existence. This is where the TBD steps in which they have END (Emergency Neutralization Division) deal with potential temporal emergencies 

Even things can happened without the caused of divergent timelines, which as catastrophic events when a core timeline’s shards can break off and drift into temporal space and if these aren’t repair, you can kiss that timeline goodbye. And this isn’t the first time, if you’re an longtime Ovenbreak player like you me then you know that in one of Ovenbreak’s previous updates of 2025 was the final showdown (Draconic Immortalis) against Longan Dragon Cookie in which they in a desperate attempt tried to break the veiled border to rule all however doing so would have caused OB’s timeline to collapse, it gotten so bad that Millennial Tree Cookie had to step in and asked Timekeeper Cookie to help which she ordered the TBD to repair the time barrier.

And what happens if divergent timelines become so powerful that not even the END or Timekeeper could stop it? Uhh…well I can’t imagine what but we all know it has something to do with that clown and fate of the entire cookie world and beyond  ._.

Now this leaves in with these guys…the dragons, corrupted legendaries and finally the last group of new cookies we’re not familiar with. In CRK’s 5th anniversary fan festival, they briefly talked about how these group of cookies are part of a secret organization connected to the TBD.

Here’s my take on how this could go:

The four main dragons (Ananas, Lotus, Lychee and Longan Dragon) will be involved and are from the Kingdom timeline. Some of them will help our heroes while those like Longan Dragon will take advantage of the situation. But the dark purple dragon (Either from the Jewel or Coral Dragons. The stone dragon is out of the picture since the Ebony Dragon in Ovenbreak has a black and red color scheme) is from another timeline in which they survived and escape to Kingdom’s due to Shadow Milk’s messing with the timelines. And let’s remember the fact that Pitaya Dragon got absolutely beaten in BY EP. 14, and it looks like they’ll be under SM’s control which sucks

The corrupted legendaries (Alluring Crescent/Moonlight), Deep Sea Trident/Sea Fairy), and Night Archer/Wind Archer) are from another timeline, possibly from SM’s attempt in spreading his chaos and deceit or not. However the odd ones standing out are Millennial Tree and Fire Spirit Cookie since they’re in their Primal Mercy and Immortal Cataclysm ovenbreak costumes respectively. Then there’s also Stormbringer Cookie if you look closely and she doesn’t seem to be corrupted either but we most likely see other corrupt versions of the legendaries in the future

The last group of new cookies are either a group of supporting characters that will help our heroes or new antagonists that are a foiled to the TBD. Or maybe they’re actually work with the TBD but part of a special secret task force under direct orders from Timekeeper Cookie. I heard some people say they look liked scientists or could potentially used to be human but like the First Cookies, they somehow got turned into cookies

The Bug Beasts are a direct result of Shadow Milk using temporal energy from CRK’s timeline to create divergent timelines on a massive scale in his attempt to create the perfect timeline he desire which widely attracts the attention of Timekeeper Cookie and the TBD

(EDIT: Speaking of which, considering Timekeeper is morally grey she’ll be watching how this goes but will step in when necessary since SM is a huge threat. We’ll definitely see them have their fight again. Remember she’s the director of the TBD, she may be a little chaotic but she’s sane enough to not let the timelines or the entire multiverse rip itself apart. She’s literally one of the most important characters in the franchise and every cookie run timeline would have collapse due to catastrophic events if the TBD wasn’t formed or if there was no one else to prevent them.)

Now let’s talk about Pure Vanilla…because good grief this guy needs therapy (Everyone needs therapy at this point) and a cup of hot cocoa. White Lily’s death really hit him the hardest and with the possibility of Truthless Recluse returning, albeit not fully. I think it’s most like Pure Vanilla will be more firm and tell harsh cruel truths while still having his compassion to get through with Shadow Milk as an last attempt out of reason and to break him since he failed to reason with Dark Enchantress which we all know how that end up unfortunately. So the Pure Vanilla we’ll see in Act 2 will be mix of his Crispia and BY/Truthless Recluse, using his past experiences to beat his beast counterpart again, while Shadow Milk will try to torment and break PV again like he did before but this time for round 2 in another game of Game of Truth and Deceit. ._.

As for the hermit card I mentioned early, I guess PV would had to isolate himself, go on a journey to cope and maybe slowly heal with his grief over White Lily to find his inner truth (EDIT: Considering that the hermit card is facing upright and not reversed like SM’s, I think PV might be alright in this). It could be something like the Sugar Free Road trial he did in his youth before founding the Vanilla Kingdom, this time he might find deep understanding and the freedom White Lily left to him. And considering the fusion thing of WL and SS’s soul jam merging into one whole being to which PV calls them the “Beacon of Hope”, they’ll definitely have a huge play in the story and maybe help him, act some sort of guide but learn to find their place in the cookie world. Then there’s Candy Apple and Black Sapphire (Unless if it’s their Witch’s Castle versions but idk), who are still alive (Although this leaves me wondering about the fate of the other Beast’s minions, which I hope they’re okay after the war. Who knows where they went since Ep. 14) if you look at the title screen at the end of the trailer so obviously they’re gonna continue working for him. SM does still care about them but…For how long?

It sounds crazy but I feel like at some point seeing SM spiraling down even further would make the duo doubt, right?. Like sure spreading deceit and chaos worldwide? Sure. Slandering and ruining cookies lives (Ex: Latte Cookie, Princess Cookie and Parfait Cookie). Deceiving thousands of cookies to turn against those who sworn to the protect them? No problem! 

But interfering with time to the point at the slight chance that the ENTIRE multiverse along with you, everyone you know and love could possibly be destroyed from the instability of temporal energy and among other things who knows what. You know there has to be a breaking point moment and no turning back at this rate. I know they’re very loyal to their master but even B.Sapphire is sensible and the sane out of the deceit trio to noticed something would be off. Even in Beacon of Hope, he noticed how off his master was feeling and going easy on Truthless Recluse (Pure Vanilla). If anything, Black Sapphire is more moderate and restraint compared to Candy Apple. And let’s not forget he is very self aware that CRK is a mobile game (His kingdom quotes and even his end of the year story event is high proof of that) but I’m sure he doesn’t know what exactly happens next in the story

If Devsis are really going to redeem Shadow Milk, then maybe…just maybe they could do the same to Black Sapphire and Candy Apple. Let them have their fun run at first until they slowly had their moment where they see that their actions have extremely direct consequences and learn things the very hard way, see the true destructive nature of deceit and notice that their master has gone too far, spiraling down even more further. Have them team up with our heroes since they want their master back. Maybe SM will pushed away the only two cookies who deeply cared about him, burned the last bridges out of paranoid or something given his current mental state. IF possible by the end of act 2 he's finally defeated once and for all, he will most likely received more harsh judgement, like I said in my previous post, he can’t get away scott free for the amount of crimes and shit he pulled (Honestly he’s really such a good effective villain imo. It’s fitting how he’s the most leaning towards pure evil out of the Beasts. It’s layers of tragedy and complexity the more you understand his character). Even though he absorb the powers of the three beasts and has his loyal followers by his side, he’ll still be truly alone. The first step for him in order to actually accept PV’s friend request is for him to swallow his pride and genuinely open up his vulnerabilities as well as learning to trust cookies again, it will be a slow process for sure but it might take time to heal. The same could apply to the other three beasts which might take some time for them too and a lot to think about.

But yeah those are my thoughts on this so far. I know it’s early to make assumptions but hey that’s theorizing when it comes to cookie run for ya, you just think too deep. My only hope is that they don’t rushed Act 2 and take time to get us to know other cookie worlds, more stuff on the TBD and where the journey continues for our heroes and the rest of the cast.
