I’m really cute??? And kinda hot sometimes??? And that’s such a weird thing for me to accept.
I mean, I grew up being the weird fat girl no one liked. I was too fat, my boobs were too small, my hair was too frizzy, my nose was too big. I know I didn’t always think of myself as ugly but I “knew” I wasn’t very attractive, either.
But for the last two or three years I’ve been surrounded by friends who are like constantly telling me how cute I am and know how to find clothes I like and look good on me. I’ve been encouraged to wear crop tops and short shorts and I fuckin rock that shit.

In March, 17-year-old Deven Guilford was pulled over. Six minutes later he was dead.
Newly released video shows Michigan Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jonathan Frost pulling over 17-year-old Deven Guilford because the teenager had been flashing him with his lights. Guilford says it was to alert the officer that he had his high beams on. The officer denies he had them on and then asks Guilford multiple times for his license, registration and proof of insurance.
Guilford refuses to comply and questions why he is being detailed. Eventually, Frost takes out his stun gun and orders Guilford out of the vehicle and onto the ground. Moments later the camera gets choppy. A physical scuffle ensues. Gunshots ring out.
Guilford’s family believes he should not have been killed, but thus far Frost’s actions have been justified by officials.

Hi there. I’ve been following this story closely. I’ve also followed many stories where black people have been the victims.
You know why?
BECAUSE ALL LIVES MATTER. Because I’m against police taking someone’s life unless it’s an absolute last resort. Because I believe we do let cops abuse their power too often. Because the color of the victims skin is the very last thing I care about.
Because I don’t want to turn an issue which effects EVERYONE into a RACE issue WHEN IT’S NOT.

Everything about the stop was exactly right except for the officer not giving his badge number. Nothing else was done incorrectly, so long as the initial stop was correct. I’ve read conflicting reports of the laws in Michigan over high beams.
Deadly force has certain parameters that must be met. They were in this case.

Kinda hard to be attacked when you’re tazing someone. Wonder which one of his buddies came along and broke his nose to make it look hostile. Though the whole thing was pointless. The cop explained and knew his bulbs were bright after claiming he pulled over several other people that night for the same reason. But what was the point? Even if he pulled over everyone in the county and explained to them he had brighter than normal bulbs there would be no way to tell in future situations at night with head lights in your eyes. Plus it’s kinda aggressive to be turned around on and hunted down in the middle of the road, especially at night. If anything, that was threatening behavior and the kid had a right to defend himself.

A cop can pull over a person for any reason including unproven suspicion. They simply can’t detain or arrest a person for something like flashing their headlights. He wasn’t detaining or trying to arrest the kid for flashing his headlights. He detained/tried to arrest him for driving without having or refusing to provide license, registration, and proof of insurance - which is illegal. He pulled over two others before and let them go without incident. The headlights flashing was not the actual issue that led to aggression, he was quite civil until the kid refused to provide his paperwork as requested a full 8 times. So the headlights are a moot point.
It was aggressive and threatening for the cop to turn around in the middle of the road and hunt him down when the kid didn’t do anything illegal. He never stated suspicion.

• yes, your stomach does expand a bit as you go through the day because of the things you consume
• yes, the scales may go up a pound or two just before / during / just after your period because of the water weight, so don’t freak out, because it’s not a real pound
• if you wash (and especially condition) your hair on a daily basis, it will actually dry out more quickly, so it’s best to wash it every other day, or even every couple of days if your hair isn’t too oily
• it is not the end of the world if you bleed through your pants. chances are, everyone around you knows what a period is, and they will understand
• brush your hair out once in the morning and once at night so you can get all those nutrient-rich oils from your scalp to the ends of your hair strands

the earnings of self-employed people are dependent on the field they work in, as an example: a self-employed carpenter should earn more than the owner of a nail-salon, as carpentry is more dangerous and requires more training. as males tend to work more dangerous and therefore lucrative jobs it seems reasonable to earn more money while being self employed. i have to admit, i do not have a source here, but if required, i could surely find one.
as earning are less, so are retirement funds, exactly the same argument as above, just later on the time-scale of life.
