(tw: sarcasm) Also, this made me laugh: Suzanne Collins took struggles that are too familar to LGBTQ people and PoC and somehow tried to find a way to make them applicable to “everybody”.  Its true, Collins really captured the daily struggle of being queer; you know, having to murder other people, most of them children, on national television for the entertainment of others, is part of the day-to-day struggle of being queer. Yeah, and Dong On a Rope-kun specifically says that he’s a boy who likes girl’s clothes. So there’s that. Idk, I like headcanons where its irrelevant to the plot of a character is trans or not. Like, for no real reason I see Aino Minako as trans. Her family is very supportive and it was never a major issue in their household. She recently started hormones and is getting a part time job to help pay for her surgeries. Her parents have told her over and over again that she doesn’t need to do that, but its important to her that she contribute. None of the other sailor scouts ever mention this because it’s basically irrelevant to her being a princess or a senshi.

i assume you’re having her as a trans girl, right? cause like, if the character is presumably cis and the headcanon is they’re a (post transition) trans person that’s a little different, and i’m a bit more okay with it. some of it comes off as fetishey, but some isn’t bad. it’s a case by case basis thing.

my main issue is going against a character’s gender identity in canon, especially if it’s solely because they have gender atypical interests and personality traits

But either way its all irrelevant, because after everyone dies at the end of the Beryl story arc and Usagi revives them Minako is cis. as you know i kinda like ftm kamile and spike. because they actually identify as male and stuff. there’s nothing to back it up or anything, and ultimately it wouldn’t matter but yeah. if people wanna make trans headcanons, at least go with the characters canon gender identity srsly

my headcanon for cecil is that his race and species is subject to change on a daily or even hourly basis. i’m not even into WTNV, but that is my headcanon (and yes that means sometimes he’s a GASP white guy)
