Really struggling with the fact that no one and nothing is permanent. In a way it's reassuring that you can always change your circumstances and the people you're surrounded by, but it's terrifying when you're in an environment that really fulfills you and you know it won't last forever.

I want to love everyone to such an extent that they can't help but feel a bit happier than usual, I want them to know that there's at least one person who truly cares for them and wishes the best for them and I want to make all my friends favorite foods on a weekly basis and give them hugs and have them trust me enough to cry on my shoulder and let me comfort them AND I REALLY WANT MY FRIENDS TO FEEL HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM

I have a story about people and nature.

I visited my childhood home today. In the backyard there is a small stacked stone planter my grandfather built. I loved being with him to plant chives into the dirt and watch him make dumplings with his own vegetables.

He passed away in March. I heard from my aunt he had forgone gardening and even cooking for himself some time before that.

However, when I went to the backyard, I found that not only had the planter remained despite all the renovations, great sprouts of chives still flourished with no one being there to care for them. I had nearly forgotten about it all.

In a way, seeing those sprouts that he planted himself so healthy and in multitudes even after his passing makes me think that maybe he’s still here with me and he’s alright. I think nature is helping me grieve and move on, as well as return some lost memories. That’s all. <3.
