Cor Leonis and Titus Drautos with their two adopted children Nyx & Pelna at Hammerhead by the amazing @wombywoo!! I love it so much! It's based on an AU I've been working over the months, but it's been a bit of a secret project that I haven't mentioned on Tumblr. I know I'm alone in this when I say that Matt Mercer was the wrong VA for Cor Leonis. This is my rancid take, but Cor needs to sound like a middle aged man who started smoking when he was 12. He needs to sound like he doesn't know what an emoji is. Cor opens his mouth and the voice of a beautiful beautiful DnD nerd comes out and it is just wrong. Free him. Free my garbage man from the grip of 'serious hero default Matt Mercer'.

Flufftober Day 12

“This is spooky.” Nyx eyed the forbidding walls with suspicion, rubbing his arm as goosebumps rose under his jacket.

“Really?” Cor turned and raised an eyebrow at him. “I thought Galahdans revered their ancestors.” 

“We do.” Nyx returned Cor’s look with one of his own. “What we don’t do is seal them away in cold marble under ground.” He dropped his hand as he leaned closer to Cor.

Cor huffed at him.

Nyx poked him in the shoulder. “Don’t you dare laugh at me.” He poked him again. “I will never understand you Lucians, putting your dead in these giant masoleums far under ground. How do you visit during feast days?”

“We don’t, generally.” Cor looked around. “Especially here. The tombs under the Citadel are for the royal and royal-adjacent. You did say you wanted to come down here.”

“I know.” Nyx sighed and tugged a braid. “You’re always talking about the dead kings, the things they did. I just thought it would be more interesting.”

Cor smirked and poked him back. “You should know better than believe glaive rumors about buried treasure.”

Nyx scowled. “It’s not that, not that Tredd didn’t try his best to come up with some new ones.” He looked at the patterns carved into the black marble. “Crowe has all these theories about the connection between magic and the history of the Lucian kings. She was after me to report back what I found.”

“Remind me to introduce her to Lita in Archives. She’d love a chance to talk obscure magical theory.” Cor placed his hand in the small of Nyx’s back and steered him further down the hall. “There’s some interesting murals further down.”

“Alright, but after this, we’re going somewhere more lively. With drinks, preferably.” Nyx followed Cor’s lead.

“Sounds like a plan.”

Gaz has hearing aids from the amount of explosions he’s been in, Srs he keeps getting thrown around like a rag doll

Price has major dad energy, Nikolai is the cool step-dad, and Laswell is the disappointed mom who wished she never stopped smoking

the 141 doesn’t talk about what’s going on between Nikolai and Price, you’ll have to train the new officers (or whatever they Val all it) if you do

Gaz hates helicopters… every single time, without fail, he either falls out or it starts to crash (solider: such a peaceful heli ride. Gaz: *snorts* sry mate, it ain’t bout ta be. Solider: wdy- HOLY SHIT RPG, RPG-

Soap has earplugs in the ear that isnt connected to the walkie talkie… bc uhm explosive tendencies. If u try to talk to him he’ll just stare at you cause he can’t hear u or ur muffled.

Soap gets harassed on st. Patties day cause he’s Scottish (Roach: hey look it’s st. Patrick’s day *looks at soap*. Soap: IM SCOTTISH NOT IRISH)

Roach is selectively mute, just depends on the chronic pain (he very good at sign language)

Roach (and very rarely Horangi) are the only people who can actually scare ghost

Everyone knows to stay away from ghost and soaps channels on ops and it’s always an argument of who has to go into the channel to tell them info

Price forced Gaz to go to the medics after getting laswell back cause he fell out of the heli

If ghost isn’t with soap then he’s with price in his office drinking tea… no talking just comfortable silence and tea

Soap gets heckled for being one of the only ‘non-tea drinkers’

idky but Farrah is slightly below average height, but she can and will kick your ass

Although the King and the Lord shield are well aware of their relationship, the Captain of the Kingsglaive and the Marshal of the Crownsguard need to keep it secret for the rest of the staff in the Citadel, presenting their relationship as purely professional when they are in the corridors of the Citadel, however that facade doesn’t continue in the private offices

I commissioned the incredibly talented artist @wombywoo to do this for me, thank you so so much, it’s gorgeous and I can’t stop looking at it!

I’m going to take this opportunity to also say I have finally named my FFXV fic, it’s still a WIP and I haven’t finished the prologue yet, but I am happy with the title as it works for the 2 main ships in the story
