it’s a little funny to me that some people in the wicked fandom will talk about glinda and elphaba, two characters that neither interact much with dorothy nor like her very much, “coparenting” her. as if there aren’t already two wicked characters that canonically spend a lot of time with dorothy, have an actual bond with her, and look after and care for her until she goes home.

glinda and elphaba are NOT dorothy’s moms. boq and fiyero are her dads, elphaba is her stepmom that she has a very tense relationship with, and glinda is her wealthy wine aunt that gives great gifts but also gives her backhanded compliments at the family gatherings.
