1.0.2 Minor Update/web version no longer current
Hello, long time no update!
Remember how I said I would be making a content update for Opus??? Well, this is not it. Honestly, my other projects are taking priority at the moment and my ability to work in general is limited due to wrist and hand strain.
But I made a minor update anyways to fix a few pet peeves I had for the time being:
Changed instances of black text to a more readable green text
Removed instance of a photo clipping above the player when walking in front of it
Aliens in the disco now dance with you when you SHIFT while wearing the Disco Goggles
Station 4, the Choochoo Station that starts the Choochoo questline has a unique design to make it more obvious that that is the station you need to interact with
Altered the appearance of the LAX NPCs from their counterparts to try and indicate that they're different. Specifically that they will transport you somewhere. (I do want to change their designs more to make it obvious but I haven't come up with a way to do that yet ://)
Altered the appearance of the Pants wearable sprite cuz it was kinda ugly before ://
Altered the pinwheel map to be smaller since it was needlessly large and empty
So these are the updates, but as of now they are only available on the downloadable version and I imagine that will be true of all updates going forward as well. The file size restriction for web along with the difficulty of updating it (I have to do it separately and strangely) makes it too much of a headache and will probably lead to me breaking it anyways so I've decided not to update the web version from now on.
The web version is still the complete first version of the game but it will not receive any new content anymore.
As for the content update, I still plan on making one for sure. I want to add cool stuff that I'm happy with so maybe it'll be a few months or so! But I'm excited to work on it when I get around to it :)
For now,I released the prologue to my visual novel if you wanna check that out, and my partner and I are still working on our Soup-jam game so look forward to it!
