TT’s 31 Dragon Prompts - REVISED

I originally imagined there wasn’t going to be a lot of interest in this prompt list, but a couple people have already tried it out which is pretty cool. But, uh, since I kinda imagined no one besides me actually would, it ended up where some of the prompts needed a bit of elaboration. So here’s the revised (and slightly re-ordered now that I’m working on it myself) version of the prompt list, with some clarifications.

Lesser Drake - a dragon with 4 legs and no wings

Lindorm - a dragon with 2 forearms and no wings

Wyrm - a dragon with no legs or wings

Greater Drake - a dragon with 4 legs and 2 wings

Wyvern - a dragon with 2 hindlegs and 2 wings

Zilant - a dragon with 2 forearms and 2 wings

Tatzelwyrm - a dragon with 2 hindlegs and no wings

Amphiptere - a dragon with no legs and 2 wings

Tolkien Inspired Dragon (i.e. high fantasy dragon) - the kind of dragon you’d find on the cover of an 1980′s fantasy novel.

Henson/Froud Inspired Dragon - i.e. a dragon what looks like one of them realistic muppets from The Dark Crystal or Labyrinth, a 1980′s live action fantasy movie style dragon

Akira Toriyama Inspired Dragon - Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, Dragon Ball Z, Akira Toriyama has a really unique style and has drawn a shitload of different dragons

Pokemon/Digimon Inspired Dragon - a dragon what looks like it could be from Pokemon, Digimon, or both

Monster Hunter Inspired Dragon - a dragon what looks like it could be from the Monster Hunter Games

Warcraft Inspired Dragon - a dragon whose bright colors and bulky, almost impractically armored design feels right at home with late 90′s/early 2000′s Fantasy RPGs, such as World of Warcraft

Berserk/Dark Souls Inspired Dragon (i.e. dark fantasy dragon) - a dragon what looks like it came from Berserk, Dark Souls, Dragon’s Dogma, or some other manga/video game from Japan that takes medieval fantasy tropes and makes them super grim and gritty

This is apparently a major villain from Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger, her name is Goche Ru Medou and she is an evil doctor whose motif is supposed to be a sea anemone (she does not look like a sea anemone)

Finally got these guys done, some of my favourite designs.

Isorov is a combination of a delicate little louse and a sturdy, curious fish. By communicating through touch and taste the two are able to explore their ocean habitat together with the louse hiding safely within the fishes mouth whilst exiting to explore reefs for morsels that the fish could not reach by itself. Should one of the duo become alone the louse will send out a chemical distress signal and hope for a lone fish to respond, otherwise it will perish. The fish that don’t find new lice typically form shallow-water schools.

Exopod’s mutualistic partnership is further strengthened as the louse extends its legs out of the fishes gills, allowing the duo to interact with its environment as a single organism. So in sync are the two pokemon through their silent communication that the louses legs might as well be the fishes own arms. At this stage of their lives it is unlikely they will ever be split up. A lone louse will retreat to reefs and rocky outcroppings where it can hide from open-water predators whilst the fish typically dwell deeper in the ocean.

It is often said that this fearsome pokemon’s amazing, technicolour hue was forged from intense friendship. All of their lives the fish has been protecting and providing for the louse until finally, with a burst of incredible power the louse unleashes it’s full potential and takes over the role of protector for it’s dear, life-long friend. A louse at this stage of its life will become violent and dangerous on its own, lamenting the loss of it’s friend and dwelling on the ocean floor in a permanent rampage. The fish is unable to survive separation from its louse at this point in it’s life.

Things I had no idea existed and now I’ll think about forever

Ok so this scam fell through and this isn’t the original upload of the video, so I feel no moral qualms in posting it to discuss a couple things about it I find (unintentionally?) funny about it. Everyone who’s watched this notices that it is very painfully and obviously terrible, but there’s some things that almost feel self aware about its terrible-ness and I find that just a bit fascinating.

Like, listen to the stolen background music in the first couple minutes, when they’re revealing Cryptoland, a giant capitalist wet dream resort where people go to revel in making money without government interference. It’s stolen from Jurassic Park, and is specifically the background music used in that movie when the titular island getaway dinosaur zoo resort is revealed. The theme part resort in Jurassic Park is also a capitalist wet dream, specifically built on an island the creators bought so it could be free of government interference.

How did things turn out for the resort island in Jurassic Park, again?

When asked how he came up with the ideas for this resort, Connie, the horrible anthropomorphic coin who’s like a twisted hybrid of Mr. DNA from Jurassic Park and the Genie from Aladdin, says nothing but looks as the camera cuts away to a fucking toilet with a stock cartoon horror music sting. Like… is the advertisement admitting this is a shit idea? It couldn’t be, right?

There’s a room called the de-stress room. They say it several times, emphasizing how it’s pronounced. It’s a Scrooge McDuck money pool in the short, but just… de-stress. deestress. DISTRESS.

At the restaurant where various bitcoin-themed dishes are served, the waiter inexplicably hands the protagonist a bowl fool of rat poison. This is never explained, and I guess it could be an in-joke for NFT lovers or whatever, but… what is the joke? What is this supposed to mean? Why is this luxury island resort giving its customers rat poison to eat?

There’s a horrible song, which is terrible, but it ends with a blatant ripoff of “Prince Ali” from Aladdin. You know, the song where Aladdin sells an entire city on the blatant lie of him being a powerful and rich Prince who can make their dreams come true if they let him marry into their royal family. The song about conning people.

A huge centerpiece of Cryptoland is a pyramid-shaped casino filled with machines that literally say they’re scams. Like, a casino alone is already pretty sketchy - a business built on the idea of telling hundreds of people they could get rich only to suck most of their money out of their pockets without giving anything in return - but the machines literally say they’re scams. The subtext is beginning to feel a lot like text here. One is called Ponzi Connect for fuck’s sake.

The Cryptoland scam has already fallen apart. They’re never going to build this gaudy, shitty ass island. But they did manage to get some people invested, and I think it’s interesting that their advertisement seemed to be proudly waving its red flags for all to see. And some crypto fanatics still bought into it.

The funny thing about these seemingly purposeful red flags is that it’s nothing new. The classic “Nigerian prince” email scam relies on the same principles - if the mark won’t notice the blatant spelling & grammatical mistakes, then they won’t notice anything is amiss when the scammer asks upfront for their bank info. If you’re smart enough to notice something’s up, the scammers won’t waste their time with you.

Wish we could burn psychiatry down I'm having my prescription refill withheld until I see my psych again and I need these meds to function lol. I also have dental shit to deal with this month and therapy. Lol

Anyways just going to be straightforward: Stopping this medication suddenly causes intense withdrawal, mania, and seizures. She's angry bc I haven't seen her in like a year bc her sessions are $180 a pop. I also have to pay routine dental and renew my yearly dental plan this month which is usually around $300-something. I also have therapy which helps me function. Insurance doesn't cover or only partially covers some of this and I have to pay out of pocket. New year new stress!

My goal is around $750 so I'm not so overwhelmed by all of this. Please reblog, thank you 💖
