WELCOME TO THE GLITCHPLEX AU BLOG!! I like to post doodles every now and then and give updates on my fics here!! What is Glitchplex? Well, Glitchplex is a (mainly) FNaF AU that converts the mascot horror franchises I adapt into it, changing the mostly mindless enemies/animatronics into fully fleshed out characters with lives and families. Each fic takes inspiration from their respective game, and retells the story of the game with a new spin created by me!! If you like reading about your favourite mascot horror characters in new situations or just generally like retellings of stories this AU is FOR YOU!!! Currently in progress fic - Five Nights at Candy's Sweet Dreams "Candy and Cindy are the owners of a somewhat respected restaurant chain called 'Candy's Burgers and Fries'. After receiving a haul of decorations and props from the old Rat and Cat theater they decide to start a blast to the past event at their favorite establishment in Hurricane, but strange things start happening at the restaurant..." Happy Pride Month!!

To celebrate I decided to draw the most aggressively queer coded fnaf character ever (That's Mangle.) Here is Mangle in the GP AU! You did have a small glimpse of him in a post a while back with head shots of all the toys, but I wanted to at least draw her full body for pride month! I do have a story about the toys in mind, I might get to it one day if I'm still doing GP by then! Mangle is really cool to me so I really wanted to do her justice even if most of his OG design isn't very transferrable to this AU due to the whole... Flesh and bones thing. But yknow, we can always reference it in... other ways. I picture Mangle as your average middle school nerd, he loves robots and tech, and is part of the unofficial gaming club at her school! But he's not exactly a popular kid and due to her kookiness bullies often target her...

I've been really pondering if I don't share my other GP designs enough... Like almost every animatronic is in this AU and is AT LEAST slightly thought out, but I only ever really talk about the ones that are currently being written about. But I feel like people might enjoy if I share others, even if their stories are still a ways off from being made. Let me know if you'd like that, I suppose. If you want to know about a specific one don't be afraid to send an ask! I can do a quick little sketch and let you know some cool facts about em! Sweet Dreams chapter soon btw! That fic is not dead yet, even though it is trying to kill me...

Do you have headcanon voices for the characters? I know the Freddy’s guys probably sound like their in game counterparts, but what about the Candy’s gang? It’d be fun to know what voice to read their lines in!

You know, I do! This question made me want to make a video compiling my voice headcanons so here it is! I decided to throw in the popgoes characters as well! Since they're also part of the fanverse! I made the Popgoes ones forever ago but never got around to share them lol These are just my personal headcanons, if you think their voices sound different don't let me spoil ur fun! But I think these work for me, personally

Yeah it isn't. I mean that would be a weird first name lol, like meeting someone called "Human" lmao

Is it weird to say I don't know what his name is? I always knew from the start I'd just have him be referred to as Penguin since that's his canon name in fnac, and I didn't wanna feel like I was "forcing" a name on a character.

For other characters I have names to it felt different, like Vincent is a popular headcanon name for the puppeteer, and for Cassie's dad in the OG fic since we know almost nothing about him in canon, I was already filling in so many blanks giving him a name didn't feel as wrong, he was basically an OC

I'm not sure if Penguin has a popular fanon name BCS I couldn't really find any, and he has a very defined personality and appearance in canon too.

I think if I picked a weird name people didn't vibe with it'd really take them out of the story so I opted to explain his name as being a nickname due to the fact Penguins aren't common in Hurricane (Since it's a desert, and all) so Being a Penguin™️ is his most defining feature

I'd say you can imagine his name as anything you want it to be! It's not really something I thought about setting in stone

Chapter 7 - So, the show begins... "The Candy Gang investigates the restaurant and finds nothing wrong with the building... But there is something wrong with something... Or someone." This is the start of the third act of the story and it's where things really get crazy!! I hope you enjoy it! Check it out on AO3!

Is there a meaning behind the Russian song in the second chapter?

Thank you. The song itself doesn't have much of a meaning, but the fact it's specifically russian is relevant. It was a suggestion by a former friend and I liked the headcanon so I decided to keep it around for the story. My friend actually suggested a specific song, but I've since forgotten which one, sadly :( I've tried looking for it but I could not find it Next chapter should be out soon, I just gotta proofread it. I've just been busy with scripting some new videos for my YT.

Rambley teehee I thought, since this AU has FNAF, I might as well also make other mascot horrors I like canon. Because why not? So I drew this little Rambley imagining what he'd look like in the GP world!

fanfic writers deserve to be able to do things that will land them on the news without any consequences at least once a month, because imagine being kind enough to let people read your works—that you write for yourself and your own enjoyment—for free (also see my em dash that I refuse to let ai take from me?) and then some entitled asshole thinks they can just say whatever they want.

public bookmarks are public. I am begging more people to realize and remember this. anybody, including the writers, can see the comments you leave on your public bookmarks.

this type of comment is the exact reason more and more writers stop sharing their works online. ai witch hunt, speculations and accusations harm the writing community as much as ai does, if not more. by leaving this type of comments, you are helping ai destroy the writing community.

Yeah, actually! Pretty much every set of animatronics has a place in this world I'd say! I tried to cover my bases! Most of them even have potential fics dedicated to them I might write if I get to it! I even have outlines for most of them already lol Although, something funny. You've already seen Funtime Foxy in the original fic... I won't say where, bcs it's meant to be an easter egg, but they show up in the flesh :)

What was your name for the puppeteer?

I heard that it was a popular headcanon to call him Vincent in the fandom so that's what I did! Although, I don't think he'll be mentioned by name often- Just The Puppeteer or Vinnie. But it's the same case for the Rat and the Cat so it's not a big deal
