Desperation does not belong in the sugar bowl.
You just took a financial hit and nothing is looking up. You need money, fast. You heard about Seeking Arrangement and What’s Your Price and it doesn’t seem too bad, going on dates and getting a few hundreds, maybe more? Going to casinos on weekends and cashing in thousands?
Stop. Look at yourself in the mirror. Are your nails done? Is your back straight? Is your house clean? Are you mentally strong, are your meds refilled? Have you truly exhausted all other options for income?
Or are you depressed? Are you too exhausted to call it resumé season, are you afraid you don’t have the strength for long waitressing shifts, do you just want to have a nice filet mignon and feel pretty, feel valuable?
Don’t even make a profile. Don’t even think about it. Realize that you are already in a bad place, and that going on a date with an older man that you (due to your fears, your insecurities) will immediately detest will only make it worse. You will be rated on a scale of attractiveness from one to ten, from $150 to $15,000, and believe me, the $15,000 only exists in your mind.
It exists because this lifestyle is glamorized. Because one girl got that amount once and now all the newbies think they automatically deserve it.
You deserve what you get away with.
Depressed, insecure, inexperienced girls come into the bowl and get caught up in cheap, emotionally involved pay for play.
You may think you’re getting away with $500 and a lobster bisque. But if you are in the bowl out of desperation, if you are not the type of woman cut out for this, you are also leaving with sexual micro-trauma, possible sexual aversion, a cynical outlook on the sugar daddy demographic, triggering gifts (you’ll never want to wear that lingerie again), intensified daddy issues, possibly even Stockholm syndrome.
Oh, and you’ll lie. You’ll tell people he’s a platonic sugar daddy (because you can’t bring yourself to even think about the sex). You’ll glamorize it all. You’ll keep your destroyed self esteem to yourself and pretend that jacuzzi selfies make it better.
Sex work can be fulfilling and enjoyable. But it can also be traumatic and bring you down lower than you already are.
Every girl needs to read this if they are thinking about joining the bowl. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Bravo.
