It’s 2:30 am

I can’t sleep and so I want to write about how much I love the song Cannock Chase by Labi Saffre.

I feel like whenever I listen I’m transported into a space I’ve never been before , a nostalgic ache I’ve never felt — almost like a past life calling back to me . There’s just such a magical quality about the guitar and his voice blending together like long lost friends . The song is so personal. I just shut my eyes and breathe slowly until the track ends.

Cannock Chase honestly feels like both the beginning and end to me . Where universes meet and collide.
