Blumendrei has so much going on between them and it's communicated so expertly through the comic and campaign interactions , there's so many layers of subtlety and subtext in every interaction they have I could write and essay about everything going on between them that I've picked up and still not touch on all of it. In just a few short scenes over the course of the campaign (with the context of the comic) Matt and Liam communicated the grief, bitterness, estranged love, longing, sympathy, empathy, unhealthy ambition, sorrow and understanding between them

The fact that Nott and Caleb’s first interactions are literally

She robs him but he looks SO sad when he’s begging and crying she just gives him his stuff back and makes partnership arrangements

Her face when she saw Caleb’s face after “thank you for not leaving me” 🥺

Tries to knock him tf out to turn him in to the authorities but seeing him weep in despair at losing Frumpkin makes Nott water up as well like. even before she had the thought that he could help her, there was Emotion there I can’t wait to see how we get from Nott witnessing Caleb at his most pathetic to her hyping him up constantly

You know, it’s kinda crazy to think about the fact that that scourger from ep 1 is gonna come back in around 15 years as a random teenager to find out that Trent is in prison and the volstruckers aren’t a thing anymore

ok what with the volstrucker screenshots going around I have to ask where is Eadwulf in 843 PD? Did he and Astrid part ways once they were free of Trent? Was there a later falling out? Did they get into a fight specifically around the solstice given that he was both a wizard and a devout follower of the Raven Queen? Is he just not in hiding with her because he's literally just Some Guy? Inquiring minds want to know.

People treat Eadwulf like he’s always flirting with people. I feel like this it started out as a hyperbolic joke that became fanon. But I never got that vibe from him?

Rather, I like to think he’s just naturally that way. He’s not trying to flirt, he just can’t help it.

And he’s open enough to new people and experiences and goes with flow, so it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy:

People thinks he’s flirting when he’s not, so if they show obvious interest he’s like, “Ja, okay, why not?” and it becomes real.

Okay but imagine like how cool it would be to have a triple one shot during the final attack against The Ruby vanguard and Imperium. Like one of the one shots has Vox machina doing a specific mission, Mighty Nein doing a specific mission and also Bells Hells doing a specific mission. All of the missions happen at the same time in the battlefield but at different places. It would be full on Avengers moment and it would be so fucking cool.

I’m pretty sure it won’t happen, but a guy can daydream 😔…
