Hello everyone. Unfortunately once again I am asking for financial aid.
To put it simply, earlier this month my health insurance discontinued coverage of anything deemed gender affirming care without any warning.
I have been completely reliant on my insurance to cover these costs as I have been in a very tough spot financially. I recently got a new job that offers health insurance, but I cannot sign up for it until I have been working for about three months.
These funds would enable me to purchase my three month prescription of HRT while I wait to become eligible for new health coverage.
I completely understand being unable to donate, but even just reposting helps out tremendously. Thank you so much.

“Oh young people are cheating with AI because they’re afraid to be wrong and the system is so bad!” No they’re just lazy. Not every decision anyone ever makes is because they’re a fucking victim in life. They’re asking AI to summarize something for them or for rando internet users to spoon feed them information because they don’t feel like doing it themselves and it doesn’t go deeper than that.
"Oh but they're not excited by every single class they ever take so they have no choice but to cheat!" Shut the fuck up. You're not going to be personally entertained by everything you do in life. That doesn't mean the class is bad or not worth it. Educators are not entertainers. Enough with the excuses for this learned helplessness, and tbh enough with the tone deafness of acting like the educational system in America is the worst in the world when it’s not, especially at the college level where people literally come from all over the world to attend our universities. Grow up! But oops I forgot, 90% of the discourse on this site boils down to using progressive language to justify acting like a bratty teenager and being vehemently incurious about the world
UPDATE: MY GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT ❤️❤️❤️
Hello all,
I risk eviction and need $350 by tonight for rent money. I have exhausted my other resources, such as my credit cards (these are already completely maxed out as they have been used to pay for my monthly medications). I have been actively job searching since mid-june, and have been doing doordash and other similar delivery jobs in order to scrape by. I simply was not able to procure enough funds from these jobs to comfortably cover all of this month’s expenses. I have already asked family and close friends for aid, but ultimately I have nowhere else to stay if I’m unable to pay this months. My cashapp is $EliasIrazoqui. I also have Paypal and Zelle account but they display my deadname (please private message me if you would like to donate using either paypal or zelle). Every dollar counts, and if you arent able to donate please share this post.
I plan on starting a full time job the first week of this December, and I promise to pay back everyone who lends me money as soon as I am able.
Y'all for real please do these. Even if you're certain your posture doesn't suck. One day you will wake up with impinged shoulder pain like I did and let me tell you it fucking HURTS. Do these exercises even just once a week and it will make such a difference. Especially my fellow creatives out there, stop shrimping over your work and go do these right now. RIGHT NOW.
Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.
I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.
Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.
On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.
We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.
A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.
Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.
Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.
The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.
Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.
We Don’t Know What Comes Next
There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.
My name is Nadin, and I’m a mother from Gaza.
How You Can Help
I’m asking for support—not for comfort, but for survival:
Help us meet basic needs so we can breathe, heal, and preserve a world for our daughter.
Support us as I try to stand again on my own feet—even a glimmer of stability matters.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. If you can give—thank you. If you can’t—just sharing this post is a lifeline I will never forget.

@scribblingandscrawling recommended Open Path, a service that offers sliding scale therapy

Note from a graphic designer who has to fix this shit all day: rich black is prettier sure but for the love of the gods don’t use it for text if it’s going on newsprint. If its anything other than solid black it will bleed out and become unreadable.
Half my job is fixing this mistake all day from people who really really should know better. And now you know!
^exactly. Rich black is definitely better for graphics or large hits of black if you want it to be REALLY black and not look washed out. Especially if you’re printing in CMYK only (no spot colors), a rich black can really help tie your art together.
