Another day another rant. Ichihime shippers piss me off so much it's not even a joke, genuinely I did not imagine that such annoying fans would exist. Of course not all of them are annoying, but a lot of them are. Why do they want to force their ship down our throats? Back in 2023-2024 when I was relatively new to the bleach fandom, I was chatting with this one person online cause we both loved bleach. I mentioned that I love bleach and I like ichiruki even more because I was excited to make a friend who also likes bleach, and was like what about you? This person literally started arguing with me for no reason 😭✌️. Like let a girl ship in peace yo. They kept arguing that Rukia is an adult and that shipping her with Ichigo basically makes me a pdfphile 🥀🥀. Kubo literally portrays Rukia being the same age mentally as Ichigo. Shinigami aging is never explicitly stated. Additionally, Isshin and Masaki also have the same age gap, and don't bring in the excuse that Masaki was seventeen when they met and 18 or something when they dated. Turning eighteen does not automatically give your brain a software update to have the maturity of an adult. Moreover, every ship edit I come across of Ichiruki, there's ALWAYS someone in the comments saying
"Ichihime is canon 🤓👆" or "Ichigo loves Orihime not Rukia" Like oh my god please shut up, we get it. It's canon, Ichiruki isn't. The world will not end if someone ships two fictional characters. I don't care if an Ichihime shipper makes a slander video for ichiruki, the annoying part is that they go out of their way to comment hate on Ichiruki videos. I'm going crazy, even my friends who don't go ten feet near anime can see the chemistry between Ichiruki. Why do these people try to gaslight saying they don't have any special moments, go read the manga, blah blah blah. I read the manga, I watched the anime, I watched the live action, I watched the films. Most of them promote Ichiruki's relationship. The literal manga starts with deathberry and ends with deathberry.
