Something we need to remember sometimes. We all have different styles, different ideas, different likes and dislikes, different talents and skills. It’s not a competition to catch up to someone who you look up to. It’s a journey that they help encourage you to continued if they don’t realise it. And finding someone who you admire and can talk to? Who can encourage you and help you along your own path? That just makes the journey even better.

The movie is good, but it isn't Artemis Fowl, if it changed the names I would accept it as a great fantasy movie

Note: If you plan on watching or reading Artemis Fowl anytime soon don’t read this, there are spoilers.

Ways the Artemis Fowl movie was wrong:

1) Artemis’s mom isn’t supposed to be dead, they killed her off for the movie

2) Artemis’s dad shouldn’t have been in the movie at all, he’s presumed dead the whole first book

3) That kid wasn’t Artemis Fowl, he was Irish and twelve but that’s where the similarities end, there’s ONE scene at the beginning where he gets the personality right, but after that he was completely different

4) In the book the bodyguard is called Butler, it’s his last name, in the movie they called him by his first name for some reason

5) Juliet is supposed to be Butler’s sister, not his niece

6) All the fairies were entirely too tall

7) Josh Gad’s character was tall even though he was supposed to be a dwarf

8) Folly didn’t have his tinfoil hat

9) 90% of the plot points they kept from the book were still wrong

10) Holly was basically a side character

11) The government was involved for no reason

12) The WHOLE ending was wrong

13) One of the plot points they threw in I think is from a later book but it shouldn’t have been in this one

14) Commander Root should have been a guy but that doesn’t really bother me

15) That’s not how the time bubble was supposed to work

I have been informed that official Marble Hornets comics exist and I'm super jazzed

Unfortunately, I'm broke and my library doesn't have them so whether or not I get to read them is currently up in the air. I don't want to try and download them illegally because I don't like doing that to creators, so I'm gonna see if I can save some money up and buy them

It might be because I'm watching all these Slenderverse series, but I'm floating around in 5he idea of making a mini horror series, not necessarily Slender but something spooky. Does anyone know any good free/cheap (because I'm poor and only 17) phone apps or computer editing programs I could use? I have windows movie maker, but it doesn't have the ability to do what I really want.

If anyone has any tips or suggestions, not just on apps and software but video making in general please let me know.
