this idea was sparked off by my friend mentioning how naruto started off being able to form the rasengan only if he was using his shadow clones to assist him, which kind of felt like his parents were "helping him along" in a way. which, obviously, sparked an idea in my head and thus led to the conception of this piece lol.

i have never drawn more than two characters in a scene before, so this was quite a time consuming piece!

Honestly going a little insane over how Orochimaru keeps calling her "princess" and "dear" (although "dear" is more so a translation choice based on Orochimaru's general tone). They keep doing it when they reunite in the 4th war as well. And it does sound like an actual endearment, not just a title. Must be something Orochimaru picked up when they were a little older, since I didn't notice it in the kid/teen flashbacks.

I totally forgot about this. I assume sparring doesn't count here, but still quite curious they never had that kind of altercation despite how cruel Orochimaru can be and Tsunade does get annoyed at them from time to time. Jiraiya and Orochimaru fought plenty and if we're calling Tsunade nearly killing Jiraiya for sexually harrassing her "fighting" then they did too. Just these two didn't...
