Responses are very nice. I like reading over them. They make me feel fuzzy. Of course, likes and reblogs are also very appreciated, but responses make me feel a special kinda fuzzy.

That’s the thing about the “oh, create for yourself, don’t worry about other people!” attitude (that almost exclusively comes from non-artists and people who have tons of followers and routinely get tons of validation for SOME reason) that doesn’t quite work. I guarantee you, most of us already ARE creating for ourselves above all-

But we POST our creations for human connection, and that’s not a bad thing.

I’m not sure when we all got to the point where wanting validation for something you worked hard at is seen as a bad thing. That you’re pathetic for wanting.

If you think that way it’s not only toxic as hell it’s killing creators.

Creating isn’t easy. When there’s nobody to look at your work and say, “You did a good job. This was hard.” The drive and ambition disappears, then so does the work.

Give your content creators value.

“Patient suffers from memory loss and schizophrenia which causes them to have delusions or hallucinations. The most common of these includes ……” At this point you were completely zoned out, the doctor was telling the orderly who took care of you. The only thing that you could give them was your name. Everything in your memories was hazy. The hospital, if you could call it that, found the rest of your information in about a week. 

The whole experience so far has been very dehumanizing. The rain drops streaking down the window pane was more interesting than this moment. The only thing keeping you sane were your friends. 

Jinwoo, the leader of your friend group, was always at the beach. The ocean sunrise and sunset made you feel breathless whenever you sat in the sand, watching them with your head on Jinwoo’s shoulder. There was a cooler full of orange soda bottles on the ground on his right side. “JinJin, could you please hand me one of the sodas?” “Sure, Y/n.”

Grimm AU??

Has anyone ever seen Grimm? I'm thinking about making an Au for Ateez where the reader is a Grimm and the members are the creatures that she is helping out. Each member has a nickname for their reader that is how you can tell them apart in the others stories.

Each story will take place in a different town and there will be a different relationship for each member.

What You Learn at Midnight

Part of the When Living Life series.

The department clown (with one of his best friends Seokmin), Soonyoung once had aspirations of working in emergency medicine but was far too excitable for the other doctors in the department during residency. A smooth transfer to internal medicine allowed Soonyoung to shine brightly without his bounding energy interfering with other physicians’ focus. Sometimes he wishes he had gone into family med, but he gets facetime with Jihoon’s clients in the waiting room when he can.

IM/FM is a big department, with many residents and fellows from various other hospitals and medical schools all over South Korea. It’d been a very quiet, calm department until Soonyoung arrived, and the peace you’d enjoyed all through the first years of your residency quickly dissipated. But the man-child you initially thought clueless was anything but. A series of night shifts changes everything you thought you knew about Soonyoung, and maybe – perhaps – it might be okay to fraternize with someone like him after all.

Themes: medical/doctor/hospital AU, slice of life, sort of enemies to friends to lovers, soft hours, mainly just fluff, soonyoung is a gemini, found family, fed-up wingman Boo, sort of a coffeeshop AU, sisterhood of the traveling credit card
