Today I’m pushing myself to get my mind off of my struggles and focus on God. It’s important to take time to say thank you, even when things aren’t going my way. There have been some frustrations this week. But I am alive, I am sheltered, I am fed, I am loved. These are things easily taken for granted when we’re going through it. So this morning I am mentally pushing the negative thoughts out of my head so I can focus on giving God the glory. And even say thank you for the struggles. Because it may not feel like it now. But I bet in a year I’ll look back and see how this season was exactly what I needed to take me to where I needed to be.
