i'm never going to stop feeling mad and betrayed about how level 1/"low support needs" autistics have become the face of autism and gleefully use their privilege over l2/3s to talk over us, pretend we don't exist, and use the slur used to hurt US while pretending it's their word to say. while level 2-3 and "high support needs" autistics have been so erased that a lot of people don't remember we exist anymore and blame us for our symptoms. i've never met a level 2 or 3 autistic who wanted to say the r word. everyone i know like me hates it because it hurts. level 1s can't accept that there are people who are really more disabled by their autism than them TO THE POINT WHERE THEY KEEP SAYING HOW AUTISM ISNT A DISABILITY it's so frustrating!!!! aspie supremacy is a disease. support ppl with high support needs

i don’t know how many people on tumblr know about “verticals” - they’re cheaply made soap operas that are filmed vertically so you can watch them on your phone. they’re infamous in the acting world because of the poor writing and nonsensical plots - almost always has something to do with a mafia boss or a vampire or a werewolf - and they always have insane titles like “pregnant with the ceo’s baby” or “forced to marry the alpha king.” i come across tons of them on casting websites and they all have wild titles and descriptions but none of them, None of Them, have truly grabbed me like the title i saw today:

this is the core of why some women defend beauty standards - if they’re deconstructed even a little they have to face how much money/time they’ve sunk into them. it also exposes how untrue “i did it for myself” really is - if that was true, you wouldn’t be upset that other bodies are being uplifted

Exactly this. If they accepted that fashion and makeup and plastic surgery and shaving every mm of their bodies etc were useless and unnecessary, that would shatter their entire worldview. They would suddenly have to face the reality of just how much violence has been done to them. And most just aren't ready for that. Because it hurts. Because they list so much time and happiness.And deep down they know that. That's why they have to perpetuate these beauty standards. They cannot face the truth. It would break them. And this is also why cis women are often the biggest and loudest perpetrators of patriarchy and misogyny.

Anyway. Lana Condor is gorgeous. I don't know who she is, but I applaud her bravery in the face of misogyny. We need more people like her. Show off the rolls. Stop shaving pits and legs.
