@herecomesthementalmeltdown
Iām ready to be transformed by the ibuprofen . Iām ready to be born again in its purifying light.
last day of pride month lets all look at this tweet im im love with again. happy Pride bitchh!
Whatās With the āDeathā part of Death Bed: An Impenetrably Medieval Dungeon Game?
The PCs are dead. Un-dead, in a very Dark Souls way. When the project was initially conceived, it was a lot more specifically Dark Souls inspired and a lot more āOSRā, both of which have changed over the course of development, but a lot of the Dark Souls has still stuck around, like the fact that the PCs are undead and ārespawnā at bonfires when they die. Theyāre immortal, but far from invincible. Dying repeatedly takes a toll on their mind, body, and spirit, and they will need to make progress towards their goals to reverse this gradual decay.
Other things that stuck around from the initial Dark Souls idea are a stamina-management-based action-economy. With a few exceptions, during turn-based action, a PC can do a hypothetically unlimited number of things, but most actions cause Fatigue. Fatigue builds up in the characterās HP track, temporarily shortening it, meaning the more Fatigue they have, the more vulnerable they are. A PC could hypothetically attack a half-dozen times in a single turn, but doing so might leave them exhausted and unable to dodge, block, or parry the response.
There are also Maidens (often barefoot) who these undead PCs are reliant on for this gameās equivalent of āleveling up.ā EXP is spent on stat upgrades, and accumulated EXP is dropped upon death for anyone to āpick up.ā
Also a PC can be a Maiden for the party.
shout out to women this pride month
*starts beatboxing*
I would never profit off of war. Thatās so unethical. In fact, I actually lost a ton of money betting on Iraq
So like. I've been on HRT for a bit more than six months now. And I feel despair.
Despair of sweet titties lmao.
Asuka!!!
I dunno you guys I think the emotion of āyaaay I finally have an excuse to be a bullyā is one you shouldnāt luxuriate in
old people were right putting ellipses after everything you say actually rulesā¦.
they're still terming random transfems as i type this i see which does make quite a statement doing this today specifically
watched three girls who reblogged its new blog mutual aidpost (made literally 15 minutes ago) already disappear from its notifs. transfems are not included in their pride :/
QUITE the statement to be nuking transfems at the current accelerated pace right at the start of pride month like this, isn't it
so like this is the plot right
(inspired by this post)
like actually why does no one talk about this. like the actual implications of this.
obligatory. actually idk none of the classic jokes work for this set
the problem with visual novels is that they are novels, but they are almost exclusively sold on video game distribution platforms, which means that they're novels being read by gamers who are by and large entirely unequipped to critique that medium
small but still worrying number of people are reading this and coming away with "... and that's why visual novels are a bad medium" and not "... and that's why gamer blood should be flowing in the streets"
you guys need to be kinder to people you donāt find attractive. itās getting ridiculous.
iām fat, intersex, and disabled. so many times if i hung out with someone, their outfit gets complimented but not mine (even if i that person literally picked out my outfit so its not a matter of me just not having a good fashion taste). so many times have people treated other people around me kind but their attitude changes immediately if they have the misfortune to interact with me. i donāt do anything to warant this besides looking different. i get treated like iām not there or not human. it sucks.
i know this affects more than just fat intersex disabled people. trans people, people of color, women in general, but especially those who have any of these traits or even just donāt wear makeup. dehumanization can be subtle. but we noticeā¤ļø
