Had some crazy experiences last night I want to share. In the past months I haven’t been sucked into any crazy experiences. Anyway, I finally changed some things and sure enough last night w…
Had a crazy ass experience last night. Met God.
Gave me 3 tips for meeting Him - just wanting to share.
To the Wild Life of Love!

I watched.
I simply watched as it cleared.
Despair, confusion, misdirection.
I watched because it was entertaining, like colors colliding in the sky above me.
I moved forward because it was obvious.
Gone were the moments of frustration, of anger.
If pressed I couldn’t point out where my tools lay now.
I no longer scoured for the correct incantations, for the promised land that I so needed.
It had all become a part of us.
Out of desperation we had given our decisions up to our strongest link,
To our most trusted friend.
It was all out of logic, it was the only thing to do.
I had already been defeated, my life ransacked by wicked things.
But that world was gone.
It had been drowned out by the vivid colors of grace.
I acted of course, I moved quickly when needed, seamlessly.
Decisions and battles – if you could even call them such – became anti-climactic.
Without worry, without tension.
I could feel the breeze.
I would focus on it, let it overtake me.
Grace was doing it all.
We will do it all.

Nights in July
Never have I both raced through a book and felt its impact on my life.
Open letter to people that know "backsliders"
Today the Lord told me I was backslidden. When I heard him say it I was worried for some pretty obvious reasons. I could see the lack of hope and love, patience and joy in my heart and life. But before I could hardly grasp toward the feelings of fear, foreboding, regret, and failure onset by this news, he said some things I had never heard before about backsliding. His explanation came so quickly that I only had like... Moments before I was overwelmed with the peace that my God is powerful and genius and can easily handle anything that comes to challenge us.
I want to share what he told me.
People use and take the word "backslider" as an insult or an attack. They see a person that is "backslidden" as one that has not cared about their spiritual life or has purposely turned away from what they feel is right and awesome. It's not true. To be backslidden simply means that during your effort to move forward or hold your ground, something has pushed against you fiercely and you weren't able to maintain your place. We must remember that God's cure is A-L-W-A-Y-S love. That love is his motivation; his tool. Love is both his means and ends. He is a loving and humble God. Discipline is not destruction, it is instruction.
This applied to someone who hasn't been able to "stay strong" or "keep the pace". We all fail. And this does not mean we have unwilling or cruel hearts, it means we are young and you know what? Our father likes his children.
The purpose of this is to say that whoever your are - if you donnot know how to handle the "backsliders" you know, or you feel that you are backslidden and you don't know how to fix it. Here is your solution: Ask the Lord to make his love so obvious, so apparent, that their/your/our heart(s) are strengthened, that we may continue in the beloved righteousness, the peace, the love, that we have been given.
Party on and thank God he's risen.

A Conversation With God
This is a conversation with the Lord that I had the other night, I just found it and thought I'd post it:
Preface: In the past I've been inspired with visions and promises of the future. When I was in the desert with the Lord he told me things such as the temperament of the person I would marry, the only things I would ever own on a long term basis (computer, car, clothes, guitar, etc) and so on. But now things are different and He's been very clear that He's purposely making me feel like I can't see the future, no clear prophecy, just vague encouragement - very irritating.
"You cannot see your future right now because I want you to be able to relate & have relationship with Myself & others. Just as the prophet ________. At times you are prone to being so distracted by grace (My doing things to make your life better) that you lose your [relatable] humanity." - God
(He didn't tell me the guy's name but I remembered his likeness from the Bible)
"But how can you implement this & then have me feeling antisocial in this time?" (I've been feeling very antisocial so this idea that it will make me relate to others more didn't make any sense) - Me
"Because it is not enough for you to be blind. You must become alright with being blind (to your future) else you'll still spend all of your time searching for your vision." - God
He then said, "Don't make an Ishmale."
Inside of myself I thought, boy would this be annoying if this wasn't the Lord. If it was the Lord why didn't I have the name of the prophet that had to be tested by his mentor before being invested with power to make sure the power didn't distract him from life.
Immediately I heard the prophet's name more audibly - Elisha.
Well, I guess I figured the world out.
This week has been spectacular. I've spent the nights awake, working on film and schoolwork. The holy spirit has been explaining the season's values to me - what's gonna work toward what I want and what will work against me. I'm having a blast.
I'm discovering the depths of the lord's words to me when I met him - "don't make plans" he said. Now I understand, you go to school to learn what materials you want to learn. Following your heart isn't as dangerous as resisting it. The classes I take, the working out I do, the food I eat, the films I study, I am doing them because I feel depth and enjoyment in it. I was worried that following my heart would lead me away from my goals, hopes. But now I see, it's the trust that helps you walk it out.
Before, when I felt good about an activity I would conjure up it's inclusion into either an original grandeur plan, or its inclusion in an existing goal or dream of mine. But those ideas distracted me - sometimes simply only keeping me from a rested heart, which can stop me from doing what I feel inspired toward or feeling inspiration at all - or sometimes they overwhelmed me and I would shut down.
When pursuing long-term dreams, you must understand yourself. You must.
About six months or so (vague timing) I heard Bill Johnson say that he could not wait until he and the people he loves heard the Lord say, "tell me, what is it that you want? I will give it to you."
The Lord says this constantly. He says this, I feel, because his words to us are "yes & amen." But what does that mean? I have asked the lord myself and he spoke toward the topic - it means that you were set free by him for freedom's sake. His idea of blessing you isn't that he will constrict you and force you into some lifestyle you've never asked. He doesn't give freedom in areas simply because it's effective. He says, "be free & I will bless you" because he wants to know what we want - not what he can force us into. This world isn't new, he's been around for a long, long time, and he already knows what he wants and can create, but now he wanted to make living art - so let him. Let him know what you want, write it down. Talk with him about it. Listen.
Now when I ask him, "Father? But what do you want in this situation?" he answers, "What's the difference between me and you?" Yes, from that old rap song ha.
He says that the human heart is man's responsibility. Read Proverbs 16. The heart of man belongs to man. It's our responsibility. The answer from the tongue comes from God. He explained to me that in this proverb, solomon already knew that the tongue was the most powerful muscle in the human body because it can pursuade the rulers of the world - us. The lord told me the reason why he refers to the tongue here is because it represents our perspective of the temporal realm. The realm made of atoms, that we are in right now. The proverb means this:
Man's heart is his own responsibility. The heart being the place of inspiration, of desire, of peace, of faith. The heart is the emotional and inspirational part of a person. It's our responsibility to tend it and pay heed to it. When we are inspired with desire we can ask him for what we want. God's role is to provide the miraculous movement of the temporal realm, to line up things to work on our behalf. Now I know that many people pray to God for things they do not get, this is a very large concept and I will touch on it an aweful lot more later on in these posts. I feel if I had a "major" in life it would be on faith, how it works, why it works, and how to have miracles in your life. I'll share some cool stories and what I learned from them later too. I know, I'm excited as well -woot. Anyway, we stay honest, he stays faithful. Amen.
I was worshipping this morning
and was reading Psalm 27 and the Lord spoke the following:
You can come to Me on your knees, but what that truly means is that you are no longer trying to be as high / great as you can be. To be standing means to be at your full stature as opposed to coming to Me lower than your maxi.
The Word "Death"
I keep hearing people talk about taking us our cross daily. I want to speak to that. What does death mean to a spirit? To human beings it means to leave our body but spirits don't have bodies of flesh to depart from. When spirits "die" they stop. Christianity is filled to the brim with this concept. "Those that wait on the Lord." "Be still and know that I am God." In my own life I have found the same to be true: Wait on God if you want results.
The arrogant don't wait for things, they can do it themselves, they are independent. The humble though, they are dependent on another, they must wait for another to do what they need. If you are rich in spirit you just move and you may acquire what you need, move what you need. The humble wait. The point is this: there is such a thing as dieing to yourself daily, but I don't feel like the idea is purposefully to self-sacrifice so much as rest in humility and let the Lord provide for you.
Who is Jesus Christ? He is this:
Only humility opens the door to God.

Party at my (work)place!
So as you know I am quitting my job. Here are some of the cool things that have been happening around my restaraunt -
Today my friend let me know that she saved her husband's life this weekend. She had asked God to talk to her, I have been talking to her about letting God do everything and just admitting what she wants. Well she did and in the middle of the night she woke up from a dead sleep and felt to drive to a random bar. Her husband had gone out drinking with some friends and was drunk, he was about to drive home, but she picked him up and took him home. The next morning (Saturday) he woke up and asked her where the other car was - he hadn't even remembered her picking him up. I think she saved his life.
Another woman asked me about my experiences with God after she got robbed at gunpoint a few days ago. : ( She's a sweetheart and she's already feeling happier, says she's going to try this whole trusting God thing out. Woot woot. Love it. Ty for her heart Lord bless her and don't let her down!
A few more people have been miraculously given money recently after asking God for cash - I advise people to ask God for cash and then give up on trying to get it themselves.
One very sweet man who is constantly stressed about money told me tonight that he's going to cut down on hours because he's having a hard time keeping up. I responded immediately saying God can give him an entire briefcase of money if he asks - 30 minutes later somebody left him a $57 tip - he said he had thought about what I said and then there it was.
Liberty to the people! Woot woot! Love it.
Momentum
Today is big.
I'm sitting here watching a story about the Life of The Buddha. I've also been taking emotional intelligence tests during breaks in the film. I see that I am not happy right now because I've lived in something I hate. I don't like the business, the pressure of life minus the discovery, the deep movement, & the awe. I want to learn, ponder, breathe, love, & fight for the things I care about. I want to rescue and support others. I want the people to prevail in their lives. To understand themselves, the value others play in their lives, the value of the creation around them. To live, not just as kings, but as good kings with healthy hearts and clear minds. As I watch this film I feel like I am watching my own reaction to life, seeing my own grasping for meaning, to understand pain & the world around me.
I'm quitting my job today.
