A deleted scene from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 1937. Grumpy protests against the dwarfs housing Snow White as she’s hiding from her stepmother’s homicidal attempts toward the little Princess, and ultimately instigates a fight with Doc about it which turns physical. Witnessing the toxicity Snow White, exuding pure sass and autonomy, marches toward the door and declares she can find shelter elsewhere- and if she doesn’t, she isn’t afraid to stick it out in the woods alone. Fragments of this chapter, along with the soup sequence and a longer version of Someday My Prince Will Come, was ultimately trimmed for time but the overall, shortened scene was still included in the final completed film.

Well folks, it’s happening. We need to fight for our sisters in New Hampshire so they may use the bathroom as they please. This is ridiculous!

I am pleading with any NH residents, please mail your local legislatures, get your, protest, something! This is an obvious overreach of government power and it will become more common if we do not shoot it down now!

usa: you do not need to go to the post office to mail a package

you can order priority mail shipping boxes and envelopes in any size from store.usps.com for free. if you do not have a printer, you can buy them with the postage already paid on them. the postal service will deliver these boxes to your house. you can pack your item into the box at home, then go back to usps.com and schedule a time for the mailman to pick the package up from your house. this is also free. you do not have to visit the post office at any point in this process. if you use flat rate mailers you also do not need to weigh anything.

i have to explain this to people about 20 times a year, no joke. it is some sort of anti post office conspiracy that everyone thinks you have to buy shipping boxes and then drive to the post office and stand in line to mail things. you do not. shipping mailers and boxes are 100% free. priority mail service or above (and prices are now adjusted to the point that its usually pointless not to use priority mail) entitles you to a free pickup, and if you have even one priority mail package to ship, you can ask for all your other packages to be picked up on the same trip too.

if you are shipping JUST books, use Media Mail. its very cheap

you don’t have to have priority mail to schedule a pickup btw! you can schedule a pickup for free regardless of type of mail. they’ll even pick up a stack of stamped envelopes! (usps will also deliver you stamps. you have to buy them but they deliver them for free.) i never go to the post office and i am constantly mailing all kinds of things

oh shit this is THAT sinclair? what an icon. for those that don’t know “don’t mourn for us” is widely considered THE touchstone for the autism/neurodiversity rights movement. i can’t find anything reliable about pronouns. xir gender is definitely neuter though, an ‘older’ label akin to agender.
