as a trans person i never had an issue here and its made me upset that everyone went after eret when she did this- like. guys. when eret deadnamed elliot, elliot literally had come out A FEW HOURS before eret talked about him. lots of people didnt know.
if someone didnt know my new name after changing it, they would hear someone refer to me as my name, dimitri, and then they would say “whos dimitri?”
if someone wanted to explain, they would tell them “*deadname*’s new name is dimitri”. that has always been normal. telling people in that way has always been normal. idk how else eret was supposed to let people know. why did yall get so mad at her
