one of the things that bugs me the most about people going “well they’re not hurting anyone” in reference to “demiflux demiboy panromantics” or whatever is that they are. they are hurting us. they’re pushing conversion therapy rhetoric on young gays and lesbians. our own community is becoming homophobic, and i can’t imagine what that’s like for people who have been involved in it for a much longer time than i have.
