The fic is mainly from my OC Emmeline's POV through diary entries, notes written between her and other characters, letters, and medical records.

Chilling in Fantasy Life i. At first I was thinking of drawing Hayden in game's outfit, but then decided to do my own costume design :D

TGL: Lady Arachne.
A: Mistress of Death, how are you faring thus far?
TGL: I'm fine just bedridden again.
A: Common for someone decended from the Ljósálfar, but I hope my handiwork is alleviating your suffering.
TGL: It is, and I have a question.
A: If it's within reason I'll answer it.
TGL: Do know if everyone at the citadel is well?
A: No little pup, I have not heard anything from the branch you belong to since the start of this devastating and pointless human war. Though if I hear anything from my daughters and sons within your branch I will send you a letter.
But, I have to be on my way now, though I'll leave you with this additional gift.
TGL: Safe travels Lady Arachne.

Friday, November 22nd, 1918.
Lady Arachne visited me Ludwig, and I asked if she'd heard from the citadel through her children there. She hasn't.
Damn it all, the fates love to be cruel.
But unlike the fates Lady Arachne is generous; she gave me another bracelet that'll give me a human disguise as long as I wear it. Which is far better than casting a human disguise myself.
I tried it, and the process was painless. Which is strange, but I am grateful nonetheless.
I need to end it here, someone is knocking on my door.

TGL: Cordelia what is the reason for your unexpected visit?
C v V: I'd like to invite you to enjoy a cup of tea with me if you're feeling well enough to.
TGL: I think I'm well enough.
Now, we're at the table what do you really want?
C v V: Clever pup. I know it's greedy but I have another favour to ask.
TGL: You have done much for me, I'm fine with another request.
C v V: A man, Karl Von Schmitt will be visiting next month. He's looking for a caretaker to nurse his oldest back to health.
TGL: And went to you for help, but you're preoccupied with caring for Dorothee and Richter.
C v V: Yes. Would you be willing to go in my stead?
TGL: Why are you trusting me with this?
C v V: Ludwig spoke of you with in awe of how your presence improved morale, the soliders mental stability, and handled being a newly-made nurse in the trenches.
TGL: Simply put, I'll be caring for another victim of the war.
C v V: Exactly.
TGL: I'll do it.
C v V: Good, in the meantime I want you to study the contents of this book while I think of a proper name to give you, and enjoy the tea.

R.B.: Sorry Miss Grimm, but the slashes on your face, do they still hurt?
TGL: No, and they have not hurt for a while.
R.B.: I'm relieved to hear that! And you don't blame Fischer for doing that to you?
TGL: Never blamed him. He was going through a bad episode and it's good he hurt me instead of you or the others.
Are you worried about hurting Dorothee and Ludwig's grandmother during an episode?
R.B.: Yes.
TGL: I will stop you from hurting them.
R.B.: Thank you, Miss Grimm.

Wednesday, November 20th, 1918.
I have glasses now Ludwig.
I CAN SEE EVERYTHING?????
I AM NOT USED TO THIS CLARITY.
Is this what regular eyesight is??
The glasses man didn't seem to be shaken by my appearance, rather he did what he was supposed to do. (I think?) Nevertheless I am thankful to have the ability to see clearly.
Your Grandmother gave me a bracelet too, one that's supposed to stabilize how much magic my body produces, along with my medication that has the appropriate dose now. It's supposed to do the same thing as the bracelet too.
I "talked" with Richter. He is concerned about bringing harm to your family during an episode of his. Doesn't want to do what Fischer did to me.
I assured that I'd stop him from doing such a thing and I think that made him happy. :)

Thursday, November 21st, 1918.
Arachne hasn't come out of the room she was given by your Grandmother yet.
Here I was hoping to speak with her. To see if she knew everyone in the citadel is well.
Maybe she doesn't and I'm acting like a damn ghoul-bag.
It's one of the terms for fool or idiot where Aoibheann and I were born. (I don't remember which one but both suit you.)
You often acted like one trying to help people and almost got yourself killed several times.
To be honest, a bit of what Aoibheann taught me is coming back, but my mind is still in a mess about some things.
I need to excuse myself, I know it's sudden but I have a reason to.
