Welp

I haven’t posted anything personal here is a very, very long time, so why not just  word vomit?

 I’ve been living in San Jose, CA for the past two and a half years. It has been an amazing time out here learning and growing as a manager for a great company. The weather is beautiful year round and there is always something to do, especially visiting San Francisco. 

Jaime, the pups and I are all doing well, and some big changes are coming soon. Jaime has taken a position at the Restaurant Support Center as the Manager, Operations Services. It’s a lateral move for him - getting out of the restaurant and into corporate, but the opportunities will be better. We’ll be moving to the Huntington Beach / Santa Ana / Irvine Area come the third week of January. 

We’re scared but excited to start again in a whole new part of California. We made connections and friends out in the Bay, but knew coming out here it wouldn’t last forever. And now here we are. 

I can’t lie and say I’m not a little sad to be leaving, especially with such a great team as I have at my restaurant right now. It’s hella expensive, and I’m not kidding when I say that, but it’s been worth it to be able to call San Jose home for the past two years. 

Here’s to new adventures in SoCal!
