Hey y'all! So here's a real shit picture I snapped real quick of a little Absolute Batman piece I started recently. Ngl my initial thoughts on Absolute Batman before reading it was that the design was ridiculous and the art could stand to be tightened up a good deal. Tbh, I kinda still feel that way,BUT, I think it's a dope story with a really interesting premise, that at first I dismissed as gimmicky and cheap, but in all truth, it's been so fun seeing this unique version of Gotham and it's players slowly fall into the more familiar versions from the bat-mythos. I think the design's pretty crazy, but I've definitely seen some artists make it look better and more cohesive than others, and the general artstyle of the run, has really started to grow on me(despite a few persistent things I don't quite love, but hey, "different strokes" right?). But yeah, basically overwhelming hubris pushed me to see if I could do any better, and tbh... meh? I think it came out ok, but I sure didn't reinvent the wheel, lol. Anyway all that is to say, here's my big-ol-bat-boy, hope ya like 'im!

I guess this is how I’m processing what we’re all going through right now. I had the stray thought, “What is Spider-Man doing during all this?” and this happened. On the one hand, it’s kinda sloppy and inconsistent, but on the other hand, I had the idea Sunday night and I’m posting this Wednesday night. 5 color pages in 4 nights is pretty good work. Anyway. Here's some new art I've been working on. 1st is the first appearance wolverine, now fully colored. 2nd is an iron man piece I started. 3rd is venom(not based on the movie one, just a regular ol venom) 4th,5th,and 6th are some previews of a new spideypool set I'll be working on. And lastly 7th,8th,and 9th are just a lil manticore guy. I dunno. I like manticores. They're neat. 😁
