Gamora quickly tugs on a big t-shirt, and a pair of shorts, crossing her arms over her chest. She needed to make a mental REMINDER to speak with the others about teaching Groot about knocking. “I don’t know why you would think I’d have any of ROCKET’S tools in here…but…” She pauses and examines his face, watching his movements.
A soft sigh and she nods. “Let me help you.”
She pulls her hair back out of her face and tries to FIGURE out what Groot was looking for. Bending down, she scoops him up and places him on her shoulder, gently caressing the side of his face with her finger. “Don’t WORRY, I think I know what you’re trying to find.”
Padding out barefoot, a true sign that it was HOT onboard since she never ventured past her room without socks or some kind of SANDAL on her feet, she walked into the mess and rooted through the drawers. Music was pumping through the ship as well as the combined GRUNTS and snide comments between Rocket, Drax, and Peter.
Her fingers finally clasp around the multitool and she offers it to Groot with a small smile. “Here you go.” She hummed, pressing a kiss to his forehead. Lingering in the mess for a moment, she listened to the men SQUABBLE and she sets Groot down on the counter. “Do you want to dance while they ARGUE a bit?”
Groot ignored Gamora’s weak protest and continued moving his tiny arms, describing the shape of the searched tool through gesticulations alone. Apparently, he was semi-successful with his endeavors as the green woman scooped him up and placed him on her shoulder. “I am Groot.” He muttered quietly with a smile as he received the small affectionate gesture.
Making himself comfortable and sitting down, the small twig simply followed her around, curious where she was going. It seemed that she knew exactly where she was heading, knowing what Rocket needed. It turned out Groot was right with his assumption when Gamora presented him the tool he was looking for. “I am Groot!” He cheered, took it and got a hold of it.
Upon her question, the sapling turned his head to the side, into the direction where the strange sounds came from while climbing down her hand to stand on the top of the counter. Oh dear, the others were disputing again. It was not that unusual, but Groot learned his lesson not to get involved. Sometimes it was better to stay out of it.
“I am Groot.” He returned his eyes to Gamora and nodded. Then, he placed the multitool down and started wiggling his hips a little. “I am Groot!” Pointing at the green-skinned woman, he was telling her to join him and dance with him.
