I love this.
By Brandon Smith One of the go-to accusations of the political left against conservatives is the notion that we are...
Excerpt from column;
Brandt was charged with manslaughter and released on $50,000 bail. Compare this to Kyle Rittenhouse, who killed armed leftists in self defense and was charged with multiple counts of murder and given a bail of $2 million. He was also called a “racist extremist” by the media even though the people he shot were white.
The core danger of zealotry is not only that it radicalizes normal people into doing horrible things, it also opens the door for naturally psychopathic people to do evil under the cover of social justification. They can now commit all the atrocities they dream of committing, that they enjoy committing, while claiming to be acting in the best interests of a particular movement.
Imagine that this event was now flipped – A middle aged conservative gets into an altercation with an 18-year-old blue haired progressive, then punches him and kills him with his car. The media firestorm would be endless, we would be hearing about it for the next year and numerous conservative politicians would have to come out publicly to admonish the behavior as not representative of our principles.
Where is the firestorm over the death of Cayler Ellingson? Where are all the leftist leaders coming out to make things right and offer a diplomatic hand of consolation?

“Joe Biden doesn’t care about you, and neither does Kamala, Nancy, Elizabeth or Chuck.
The politicians are padding their pockets while the world burns.
How long will you let them?”

The Two-Party System has rotted the brain of usamericans
Look, Democrats have their issues. It’s important to recognize their weaknesses so we can push them to do better. But I’d like to remind everyone that they do not belong to the party that openly supports, funds, and profits from the NRA. If you think Democrat leaders don’t care about you, okay, but Republican leaders care about you even less.
Fuck the two parties.

*government forces businesses to close and enforces lockdown measures*
Dumbasses: “it’s tHE fReE MaRKetS FaUlt!!”“
If your problem with this story is with the lockdowns rather than
1. The Police
2. Uber
3. The horrifying union between neoliberal governance and capitalism (that’s the main one)
You… are, at best, truly despicable.
My problem is that you’re blaming the free market for something government did. None of this would’ve happened if governments hadn’t issued lockdowns that destroyed millions of lives and ruined any chance the working class has of becoming independent.
Please expand your class consciousness beyond the last 2-3 years.
I have no interest in listening to someone for whom “solidarity” does not include attempting to minimize infections during a once in a century global pandemic.
What, you honestly believe the difference between us being in and End Stage Capitalist society and even… a start of socialism is… the lock downs?
The Lockdowns had little to no effect in containing Covid-19. Statistical analysis shows that locking down the economy didn’t contain the disease’s spread and reopening it didn’t unleash a second wave of infections.
You’re demanding the government shut down businesses to combat a virus with a fatality rate of less than 1% then blaming the free market for what government did. Pull your head out of your ass.
When did I mention anything about socialism?
@punklibertarian don’t know why you’re trying to explain the free market to a retard who supports destroying the working class with lockdowns
It’s useless my dude

FAVORITE MOVIES #001: TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME (1992)
directed by DAVID LYNCH
Kevin is the real villian in Home Alone
The movie establishes that the phone lines to the house are down, that’s also why nobody is able to call Kevin at home. The movie also establishes that all of his neighbors are out of town which is why he couldn’t borrow their phones. The movie ALSO BEGINS by introducing the main antagonist as a “police officer” which is why Kevin doesn’t trust the cops. I’m so tired of the ignorance. The slander.
FINALLY we’ve reached the time of year for home alone discourse
#he did what he needed to do to survive. then he did a bunch of other stuff he felt like doing (via @hotcrossedfangs)
home alone is just die hard for kids
He also stole that toothbrush so was even more scared to call the police in case they arrest him for theft too
Kevin knew that ACAB ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Keep in mind that the robbers could have turned around and left at any time. Kevin set up the traps, but they didn’t have to walk into them. They could’ve left and robbed an easier house, but didn’t because they wanted to get the 8-year-old who was beating their asses. At some point, it stopped being about stealing the McCallisters’ stuff and started being about killing Kevin, at which point Kevin was justified in doing whatever the hell he wanted to them.
