GTB is an independent internet record label founded in early 2012. Launching with a strong lineup of experimental music and stand-up comedy, we’ve branched out to every genre possible – from beats to bands to bvinyl. With a strong focus on building a community out of our artists, friends, and fans, we specialize in releasing the kind of music that your internet friends make in their bedrooms, over Skype, or in someone else’s garage. We’re here to expose beautiful art created by people we both know. GTB is family, GTB is communication, GTB transcends time zones, state lines, and continents, and most importantly, GTB is great music.

i’m kickstarting “L.A. SOUNDTRACK” for vinyl! read why below or click through to visit the project page.

hey y’all - i know i’m about to bother you for the next month about this but this project is very near and dear to me and it would mean the world if i got your support or even your attention about this.

here’s the thing: from the album’s conception, i really wanted to make vinyl. like, really really. all of us at Collected are kind of psyched on that idea. over the last couple of months we’ve done a lot of pricing stuff out and throwing in some of our own personal funds and determined that we could at least TRY a crowdfunding campaign to get this out. we’ve determined that we need at least $2,250 to make this happen - that’s where you come in. we’ve set up a series of really nice rewards and merch to entice potential backers, and i’ve been hard at work designing every little bit of packaging for this project, from wax to tape to cardboard box.

our newest physical item is a beautiful blue cassette containing Mathiasen’s two 2014 EPs, october people (side A) and Moon Phases (side B). Moon Phases is comprised of cold and clear textures, woven together with field recordings and samples from jazz and classical music. october people is the antithesis, a warm and hazy synth-centric release perfectly suited for a jog through falling leaves.

A concept album, All There centers around a couple, vocalized by Maxton Stenstrom and Pilot Chmielarczyk, beginning to see their two-year relationship crumble over the changing seasons of a year. The album is divided into four sections, corresponding to each season. As the story shifts and evolves in the foreground of a changing environment, the sound and feel of the songs take new shape as well, reflecting the different environmental and emotional climates.

The exclusive cassette reissue in celebration of Cassette Store Day this year comes on a dual-color black-and-white cassette—painted white on side A and black on side B—with ink-imprinted tracklists on both sides, and a full lyric sheet behind the cover.
