alright I know I said I’d post this tomorrow for my birthday but I’m posting it now :)

This is (a lot, but not all of) my traditional Soul Reaver art. I have so much more in my sketchbooks and on random papers, but some I don’t like, some nsfw, etc. These are the ones I like enough to share, that span over the years. They’re not entirely in order (other than the first one) but you can definitely tell which ones are more recent and which ones are much older :]

I’ve already shared a lot of my digital Soul Reaver stuff, but if there’s anything I haven’t shared that I like, I’ll post that too :D

I should really get back into coloring my traditional art, I love using my pens :)

sometimes being a fan of something means not wanting them to make any more of it

been thinking about dumahs design and so i drew him while in a call with @guardiansofnosgoth :3 (shouting out to her because she helped with the design ideas...)

wanted to stick pretty close to his actual design but give it my own spin. hes got more rhino-adjacent parts, and is vaguely more humanoid since he was dead for 50000000000 years (not that many) so he didnt have a chance to fully devolve. i gave him some frostbite and scars because its cool and thats pretty much the only reason idgaf if he'd heal from em. uhhh. what else. big teefers are his actual fangs. i also changed the crown on the helmet because it highkey didnt make any sense to me and looking at samurai/shogun armor they usually did like deer antler motifs so i just slapped real antlers onto the design and thought it looked dope so #swag. also the hair started off as a joke but fuck it hes still mostly human he slept through the evolution that made you bald
