The Corpse & the Spider Ch 18

This chapter has now been rewritten and renamed to Reflections

We get some of Adir's history in this one. I quite like it.

The story follows the vampiric life of a cowardly and weak man named Marion.

I have been writing a long form low-fantasy story about Vampires inspired by the Legacy of Kain series,(just without the higher-stakes Shakespeareanism.) since 2017 and am currently working back through the 26 chapters currently published to fix errors, update, redo entirely where necessary.

I have read through it a couple of times, but there's always a chance I have missed something. If you spot something that needs fixing, please let me know.

Headcanon of the night: before Raziel grew wings his unique dark gift was the ability to leap higher and farther than his other brothers. Zephon was a close second.

I love projecting my ADHD onto Raziel.

Emotional dysregulation? Every day of the week with this guy.

Injustice sensitivity? Essential to his character.

Trouble staying on task? He gets distracted by paintings.

His special interests? History and weapons.

Impulsive behavior? He knowingly falls into Moebius's traps because he cannot control himself.

Time blindness? "I had lost five hundred years" is his catch phrase.

Chronic procrastination? It took him three games and thousands of years to kill Turel.
