Due to my weird childhood and my weird brain, I have this very unhelpful compulsion to conceal Everything I do from Everyone. I Cannot be observed performing any action, no matter how mundane. My nervous system is convinced I'm gonna, like, Get In Trouble for eating food at dinnertime or sleeping in my bed at bedtime.

I've taken to asking myself, "Okay does this task actually require subterfuge or am I stealing a balloon on Free Balloon Day"

Took me a long time to get comfortable with myself to commit to a fursona. I've had one on the bench for a long time and finally got around to it. It feels good to get it out :)

you guys need to let go of any rigid belief in what being nonbinary is because it can be anything. like someone can look completely average in gender presentation and do literally nothing to set themselves apart from their assigned gender and still be nonbinary.

Coding is hard. My character won't stop jumping if the space bar is held, even if I make it so it should end the if statement if it's either pressed down or not released. Anytime character is touching the ground and space is pressed, they jump up and down until space is released. Wah

Did you hear about how scientists are experimenting with gene splicing? I heard that they're trying to splice a crab and cheetah together. That could go sideways real fast.

The true One Piece

I started using GameMaker! I did the tutorial for building the Asteroids game and it was fairly simple. I'll admit I used the visual blocks instead of coding. Maybe if I want to get into heavy details, building games in the future, I'll learn the code. But for now I'll get used to making something that feels fun. Wish me luck.

I think Tumblr is just one of those social media apps that are better for me emotionally considering the advice I find others giving. As opposed to constant political billboards smacking me in the face. Don't get me wrong, I know it's important, but hearing the same thing over and over every hour every day is exhausting.

My brother asked me if I had any resolutions on new years eve. My answer was stay alive, but admittedly I'd like to apply myself more.

Two ideas I had was to make a comic or make a game. The comic is about little magic acorn people. The game is Captain Kitty. I kinda wanna do the game more, but that will require actually learning to make a game. Both are a pretty significant undertaking. I'll look into godot or some game making program.
