In my household, we don't talk shit about characters we don't like, we simply don't talk about them. It isn't that hard.

At the end of the day, the Bonus Chapter can be scrutinised over and over but there is one thing about the respective behaviours in the chapter that has is clearly intended to show that Elain and Azriel are not compatible:
Azriel wants a mate.
Elain doesn’t.
The whole purpose of the BC was to see Azriel’s POV confirming he wants a mate, since we already have Elain confirming several times that she does not want a mate.
Regardless of the journey Elain needs to go on to work through her fate and feelings regarding the mating bond, Elain and Azriel will never be compatible because he wants what Elain will never be.
Nail, meet coffin.
"What if the Cauldron got it wrong?"
Why would The Cauldron give Elain the wrong mate, while giving Nesta a True Mate? That makes no sense if The Cauldron hated Nesta for stealing power from it, but spared Nesta's life, because Elain chose to save her.
You think The Cauldron, who purrs in Elain's presence, would give Elain the wrong mate? A mate who is set up to be one of the most powerful fae in the whole series?
That doesn't make any narrative sense.
If she wanted to go for the "wrong mate" angle, she could have did Lucien and Nesta like she had originally planned to. Or Mor and Eris/Mor and Azriel. They would make more sense than Elucien.
but I guess we'll see when the books come out. If I'm wrong, I'll still read the books no matter what.
*kicks down your door*
When Lucien was asking Feyre "what about Elain?" the first time when she and Rhysand are showing him his rooms, Feyre seems to think he's asking about when he will be able to talk to her and see her, but it's so obvious he's asking more out of concern for her because he's seeing how distraught and hurt and not okay she is.
and I know he understands her pain because of what happened to him with Jesminda.
One of last year's drawings I did for elucienweek. I wanted to capture secret wedding vibes.
They wanna paint Lucien a villain so badly, but feyre thinks this about him in WAR:
So, argue with the author I guess

Cassian in ACOWAR:
Lucien in ACOSF:
Yet apparently what Cassian says is fine, but what Lucien says means he's not into Elain.
Make it make sense.
Let us not forget Lucien Vanserra slaughtered his way across a battlefield to get to his mate and make sure she was safe and okay
Jurian: Hostage or not, sometimes it’s nice to be held
Lucien: WHERE ARE YOU
“Who cares what my father does to me?
“I know what sort of creature my father is. I don’t need your sympathy.”
the king of hybern randomly dropping how handsome lucien is will never not be funny to me
You can hate them all you want. The Night Court can hate them. But nothing changes the fact that the Vanserras dress better than everyone.
lucien’s most underappreciated trait is his self-control like here
or here
as well as the way he manages to hold control over a situation like here
