Here it is! My take on what happened to Peter Parker after the Snap

This damn thing took me waaaaay too long to finish. I had actually started it last year and meant to have it out before Endgame, of course that never happened 😅

So why did I finish it? Well I figured it would be good practice not only for making pages but for experimenting with layers and text etc.

Ok, so I made this blog specifically for posting my angst/whump related art, and I’ll stick to that for the most part, but god help me if I find a really good angst/whump fanfic and I don’t share with y’all.

Phantom Of Truth by HaiJu

This is a Danny Phantom fanfic where Danny Phantom is captured and put at the mercy of his ghost hunting mom. Granted, the fandom might be old but damn this fic is so good nonetheless. It’s extremely well written, it’s got a lot of sciency nerd stuff, and one hell of a whump plot. And I believe the author is working on a companion fic called That’s The Spirit!, although I couldn’t track it down.

Identity Theft by KitCat992

This one is an Avengers/Spider-Man au that I believe takes place roughly after Spider-Man: Homecoming. It includes a lot of canon and nerdy comic stuff in it, including cool characters I never knew existed. The plot is brilliant and the characters are spot on, not to mention the whump, the Peter Parker whump.

KitCat992 and her fic especially deserve a lot of love, please read-love-share her fanfiction, it’s absolutely perfect.

To put in the simplest way possible: I’m a huge fucking fan, @kitcat992. I didn’t learn about your fanfic until 2 weeks before last Christmas and I fell in love so fast I’d stay up till 3am reading it. Your wording, timing, imagery, dialogue are so good, and the characters ARE SO SPOT ON I had to check and make sure this wasn’t canon. And don’t get me started on how powerful your imagery skills are, it’s given me lots of art inspo, which I‘ve been wanting to sketch out (like that scene of tony laying down with Peter cause their hands were stuck together, i looooooved that part).

Currently working on Pt.2. Looks like it’s going to be 5 pages! ….and I’ve only got the sketches for 2 pages done…..

Also, I was messing around with the first S-M comic and accidentally deleted a large portion of colored layers and effects layers ☹️😭 but I guess it’s ok cause I’ve got jpgs of the finished pages….
